Massive update: After Hindenburg Research posted to X (L/A) a list of 50 ERP groups with public group walls where people were advertising CSAM trading and ERP, Roblox removed all of the groups and updated the site so group walls are no longer visible to users logged out or under 13. Group walls have historically been a huge target for predators looking to lure children into producing CSAM. This update will likely save thousands of children every year from child sexual abuse and sextortion. Predators are on suicide watch.

It's a very common practice for roblox users to just lie about their age. there's nothing stopping you from doing so and if Roblox thinks you're under 13 you get a comedically restrictive chat filter and you can't access some games. Its unfortunately not likely to really stop the problem, especially since iirc under 13 users can still have DMs with friends.

It's fascinating how many of these masquerade(?) as clothing groups, and horrifying how many of these groups are explicitly themed around "Littles" which is a cute little term for getting off on pretending to be a child (not to be confused with age regression. apparently these are not equivalent but I am choosing not to investigate this). Ended up finding a VERY organized one and decided to close my tabs and begin drinking instead.
And of course it all just lines up, because as a previous poster put it,

Showing up here again because I (a masochist) am committed to the bit (scouring a website for children). How helpful to The Cause (making a statement and continuing to shed light on the issue) would it be to gather up a list of groups (invaded or purpose created), users (organizers or other potential adults exploiting children), and assets (There's so much clothing specifically marketed as queen of spades), especially those not already listed on the previously mentioned Hindenburg post, because I've seen at least 70 that didn't seem to make it in that list.
It'd be harder to catalogue individual users because A) some abandoned groups are invaded, meaning lots of accounts are inactive and unknowingly involved, and that would mean individually checking each user's profile for red flags, and B) There are just so fucking many.
It'd also be sweet to include a list of red flag code words because of how much niche lingo gets used, such as "bunny", "Goddess", or "trade".

Heavy censorship/attempting to circumvent personal filters and blacklists actually seems to create a more diverse pool of slang words, especially on platforms large enough to host multiple sub-communities. "Murder" can turned into Mvrder, Murd3r, Merdur, mer door, or any other horseshit combination of characters that gets the point across, and that's not even accounting for bastard kiddie words like "unalived", or "self care" (that's tiktok girly code for jerking it). It manages to both prevent well meaning discussion of these topics, and makes the remaining discussion entirely unmoderatable because now you can't just look up the name of the topic and see the vast majority of discussion. Now the 13 year olds on the internet call you a flag got instead of a faggot like God intended. Now your moderaters need to be humans trained to recognize slang, phrases, and symbols from 30 different subcommunities. Good luck fuckers.

Every degenerate is connected. Seeing the amount of intertwined shit on the platform is sobering, but IIRC it makes scouring for groups/accounts/suspicious stuff and reporting it via MFD with good documentation pretty easy. Plus, that tweet showing off terrified condo players at least shows that some developers use the directory as an automatic ban list. That's a net good and should be encouraged since ROBLOX moderation won't do shit unless bad PR like what Hindenberg's been putting out starts pressuring them to do something.
The server for Terming Gods X is a "slightly" faster option if you wanna get accounts terminated, but euro-mods there are hit-and-miss with actually getting an ERP account banned (reporting an ACC with "SLUT" spelled out in their favorites did precisely jack shit). So the only effective solution here just seems to be trying to incentivize developers to use the database for auto-moderation as a way to protect their community (accessory ID blacklisting would be good too, no good reason to wear that shit) and hoping for random deletion sprees on the MFD pastebin. There's also checking for ERP accounts connected via Bloxlink or resolving user ID's from active servers that's in the works last time I checked.

Easy to find something, definitely. Thorough is harder. You could go through a single account's 12 pages of ERP groups and still not even find a decent fraction of them, especially because more are made or invaded every day. And I really do mean invaded, some of the groups they show up in are non-English speaking or even show evidence of being confused by the accounts that are joining and posting on their walls.

It is. Like the guy said, every one of these groups is to facilitate EPI by freaks who should've been banned eons ago.
It doesn't help that ROBLOX is too big of a platform to get all of them in one big swipe without the company themselves doing something. It's the only reason they've thrived this long. The community effort so far has had a good effect, but there's realistically no way for a group like Ruben's to tackle a problem as big as this quickly if the site's moderation refuses to help. Resolving game IDs from active servers, auto-crawling groups to add to the directory, and grabbing info from Twitter accounts that advertise them through discord links (some bait and troll accounts will inevitably be sacrificed) is probably the fastest way to grab accounts en-masse or at least put them in a "quarantine" category separate from the rest of the userbase.
Although I doubt the accounts are botted. The problem is just that bad, and ROBLOX slowly morphing itself into a budget VRChat alternative "for kids" doesn't keep it from developing the same types of malignant tumors. Grooming is rampant on VRChat because of lack of age verification & restriction; ROBLOX seems like it developed similar problems as it turned from a funny Lego bootleg (which due to avatar restrictions back then made ERP unlikely) to constantly whoring itself out to companies, Public UGC, and trying to advertise as a "metaverse" experience. Both of them have dogshit moderation (and fetishists in higher-ranking positions who probably let it pass) when you look at things like NobleDragon following furry porn artists on his ROBLOX Twitter (skip to 1:59), the Wow13524 incident ... and line it up against people like Charles David Tupper and Sippbox. (They're discord moderators, but fuck it, "Tupper" has ban permissions in VRChat anyway.)
That's why I'm personally convinced at this point that any Metaverse platform that allows custom user content should just be 21+ by default with ID verification like any adult space. If the kids want to play online, lock that shit down like Fort Knox and require parent accounts + verification to register just to discourage grooming further. Maybe it can help parents see what their child is doing online; if they don't bother, at least have moderation with access to AI tools that can crawl for bad actors and ban them + connected groups ASAP if it's being advertised on another platform. It wouldn't be perfect, but at least it'd make them feel unwelcome.

I just don't get it. Like, I've been around gay furries, tranny furries, pedo furries, weebs, sonic-fuckers, bronies, second life, 4chan, f-list (as in explored/know of, not used). Not once have I seen an overlap with actual adult female gooners of this caliber. It is exclusively Roblox (and IMVU I guess, never second life).
