Tweakers family weren't and aren't particularly supportive of his life style (other than his grandma) he was also pretty much a loner.
At the very least he now has more friends around him and a support network.
Sure he has a shitty apartment but it's a step up from the cave (crack in a limestone wall) Phil had him live in.

So based on noble @CatParty's advice, I got in touch with a few of the individuals who got recently labelled enemies of the state by Greta and company. Suffice to say, while a they didn't have a huge amount of information they were comfortable sharing (or that we didn't already know), they nonetheless still had some interesting insights that I'll now share with you.

They wouldn't name names because they know that not only are the people involved still vulnerable, but because Greta has a reputation as someone who will try to fucking threaten and physically harm her critics. The long and short is that Greta's complete incapacity to vet basically anyone has allowed TLL to pick up some highly questionable individuals.

Whilst none of those I talked to are willing to discuss it openly, there's a lot of concern that this failure to vet its staff is intentional, with full knowledge of the fact that it might potentially be allowing nasty people access to their victims of choice, since at the same time this has been going on, Greta has repeatedly refused offers for training, and more important, help vetting her volunteers. Even Volunteers can relatively easily pay for their own background checks, but to them, TLL's refusal macks of intentionally allowing abusers to keep abusing.

There's no accountability, and Greta's steadfast refusal to allow any oversight is, to them, highly suspicious.

Remember that also there's a few people complaining they've volunteered to be taking calls months ago and never heard from TTL after that. The usual excuse is that "there's only so much money for training people' even if their training is something like 2 hours long.

If somehow the only people getting through are the suspect ones then it screams to me of institutionalized predation. Also, they've gotten so much money last year that this "no money for training" is getting harder and harder to swallow, even if we know Greta spends most of it balling around the country.

Actually it would be pretty useful if someone could sum up all the money they've rounded up in 2016. I think someone did that up to some point but it's going to be hard to find now among all the shitposting, especially in the last few days.
