Can we not act like redditors, please?
Well... you'd have to learn how to read tone from the dialoguey, conversational prose style most people here use for us to successfully avoid acting like ledditors

I'll help you get started: almost any time someone starts talking about how wholesome a subject of discussion is, they're not meaning to be taken literally or seriously. No more than a little bit anyway

Do you believe they'll be successful in tipping the popular vote over to Harris?
There’s about 1-1.5 million votes outstanding nationally and Trump has a lead of 2.6 million.

It’s not happening.

If they could materialize millions of ballots that easily, they wouldn’t have lost the election to begin with.

So a better rehab system? And what exactly is wrong with that other then the arguement of paying taxes for it?
It moves current resources away from the NGO-Pharma complex into other solutions (if those solutions work is another matter entirely), which then deprives that complex of federal and state tax dollars, and private donations. Which is used principally to pay the salaries of over paid consultants and therapists, and other assorted over-educated shitlib trash. And if it works, its a direct slap in the face to the hands off policies of places like San Francisco and Portland, where hard drug use has been decriminalized, or even legalized.

Basically it is, "We're going back to the Nixon (I think) war on drugs."

My assumption is it will work for the simple fact that broken windows policing, and "stop and frisk" policing works.

Full article here:

Would have been cool to see this published by WaPo months ago. Or even a few weeks ago. It makes some good and obvious points. I wonder what the reaction would have been

The article is probably worth its own thread. I just feel like there's no way it would have been published during the US election.
I'm glad we have wapo so things that cavemen knew, like men being stronger and faster than women, are now being reported.

Absolute chickenshit faggots in OC who love to talk about how Republican they are and then vote against Trump out of ‘principle’.

Every person in OC who voted for a Democrat this election needs to be sent to Los Angeles or San Francisco for two years to experience what it’s like when Democrats are allowed anything resembling power.

Its right but its also gaslighting you as to why. Obama has been -pretty damn vocal- off screen about what he is thinking. The man views this whole mess as the end of his legacy, as the destruction of everything he left behind. And that is the only thing he ever cared about. He was happy to be the perfect puppet to the Uniparty because he believed he would go down in history as a quite literal Black Jesus. The man has a true and actual Messianic Complex. He -actually- believes himself to be something akin to the Second Coming. The man has an ego and narcissistic view of himself that eclipses even Trump.'s.

And Trump more or less dismantled that in 2016. And then Biden got in as a puppet of the Uniparty with the intended goal of resecuring Obama's legacy... and ruined it more. Now Trump is back in and with the stated plan of doing everything he can to bury it once and for all. Obama has proudly announced he is in it for the long-haul to do battle with the GOP so long as he is alive just to try to not go down in history as one of the worst presidents ever
Think we could get both parties to agree to remove Presidential term limits to allow 2028 to be the ultimate grudge match?

So the government would actually be trying to solve the drug problem for once instead of lining their own pockets. Is RFK Jr the most successful third party candadate in modern US history?

Between this and Trump wanting to treat the cartels as terrorist organizations, this would make everybody's life better. Besides the Cartel members and those who profit over the drug industry. And the ironic thing is that if it works, San Francisco and Portland would be much better places but they wouldn't admit to appreciate it. And stopping the cartel violence and drug trade would help decrease aliens crossing the border because they would either be dead (from being cartel members) or they don't have a reason to leave their homelands out of fear for the cartels.

Talk about killing two birds with one stone.

Trump is like the only President I have ever seen where the job didn't age him.

He's one of the only people in general I've ever seen is who is just not fazed by anything. A lot of people try to pretend to be that way, but he is. It's part of what drives his enemies nuts as they just can't dent him. They shoot him in the ear and I guarantee within an hour he was back to "so anyway like I was saying about big macs..."
