I unfortunately never saw that moment live. Not that I especially want to watch it, but I'm asking because I want to understand Alex better, does anyone have the clip or a link to a clip of that event with some video before he actually did that so I can understand what transpired and the context of it? I've only seen the screenshot of him with his face in her ass and seen some quote that Sam Hyde made in reference to it.

This is the full bit, absolutely excellent.

He said he's $500k in debt (that he said was "including [his] mortgage and business loan"), and AFAIK most cosmetic surgery places have financing options and even their own credit cards. I'd say if he did get some implants/a BBL, that's def a good part of his debt.
I did some quick googling and only found pectoral implants but they actually look surprisingly passable to me. I didn't realize they could look like this, I've only seen the botch jobs. I am now mostly on board with the implant theory.

Edit: Found a page for tricep implants, this looks EXACTLY like Burt's arms. I am fully convinced.

- Why is Payton popular as she is?
She was a normie literally-who background character for 2 weeks, she was close to last in endorsements, everyone assumed she'd quit after Alexis and Blackfag left.
Instead she decided to stay, toughen up, and actually play the game. She isn't as active as some of the best fish, but she has her moments.
Her Burt RP was perfect, she went all in on the puke challenge, she had some good moments in the drunk challenge and prison challenge, and she has some funny reactions to the crazy shit that happens.

She is not a content queen, but she is never annoying and when she actually does something it's usually entertaining.
Also she is a good looking woman, so simps. I assume Binx getting a bit obnoxious may have made some simps move from Binx to Payton.

I was mistaken - she actually went live last night.

In summary, the entire beef she had with Binx was scripted and for show. All the contestants fake everything to entertain the audience, and they're all coached off camera where we can't see. She holds no animosity towards Binx and you're dumb for thinking she does. AT THE SAME TIME they "played" her, "played" Alex, set him up to look like something was going on with Binx, wouldn't let her or Alex leave the house because production held onto her purse and his phone, tricked Alex into staying by lying they'd be back etc. etc.

In other words, although she has some level of cunning and street smarts, she's too thick to hold it together for 3 minutes to make a cohesive story. I guess her shitty manipulation tactics work on Alex, but it's all one big cope.
Fake and gay. They tried to tell the fish they get nothing too and gaslight them as well. She overplayed her sausage fingered hand.

Why is Payton popular as she is? Has she actually done anything that notable aside from yelling at a prisoner and being generally open to the concept of the show? Im assuming they keep her on as a simp cashcow but even fans didn't really enjoy her presence until multiple eliminations. How many people need to be removed before she does anything memorable?

Hard agree, Payton has been a stellar underdog and surprised me with how willing she is to play along with all the FT stuff. When there is crazy shit happening all around (like the Frank/Alex fights), she usually doesn't withdraw but is always there observing and always comments on it later. She's a great combo of level headed and normal but also willing to play to the cameras and likable.

Burt's scars seem to match a dude that got lat implants (that human ken doll guy)

Here's an image of the procedure prep. I'm going to guess the dotted line is where they cut, which tracks with these scars.

Honestly that's why their chances of winning are so good. It's the Fishtank status quo. All the more interesting spergs ragequit or get kicked out halfway through.
For sure, everyone knew on day 1 that Binks was going to be in the finale because she fits the archetype. It would be so boring and low stakes though if Binx or Payton are in the finale for that very reason.

On a related note, I find it interesting that Fishtank fans like the men contestants to be antagonistic and loud, but they prefer the women contestants to be nice and uninvolved. I don't know why that is.

To be honest, I wish they had a way for freeloaders to become contestants. Jobe is pretty awesome and I kind of like Jeff too. Or maybe at least a side competition for "best freeloader" so that they wouldn't be a huge distraction for the audience and main contestants.

This is why I like her - she's the most normie out of everyone
the whole point of this season was to put normals on fishtank and see what happens
and she's gone along with it really well.

Binx on the other hand I think is on the opposite side of this spectrum.
She's already into weird internet culture shit so it's like none of this stuff fazes her.
It's just not as interesting.

Most Fishtank fans are male. That's all there is to it.

I'll give her credit, I really didn't expect her to stay and yes she had her moments but did we really have to lose people like Luke and Smaack for her? It seems that people are just jumping on the Paytriot bandwagon because there's not many fish left.

They did a mercy kill on Smaack who IIRC is over 30 but not on Payton whose basically a child at 19.

Luke's elimination production could've easily stopped, and they should've because we know this guy would've made shit entertaining, but they kicked him anyways.

I don't hate Payton but I just can't see why she is still here over people who were entertaining since the beginning and were kicked out prematurely.

This is what I see in my head whenever I try to hear Burt when he's alone and also the quiet moments on fishtank:

I do like that the show is imperfect in many ways, but I do wish they would put some more work on the audio (particular like putting a compressor or whatever on it, so the volume is a lot more consistent). It has improved a lot from season 1 but there are many moments where stuff is way too quiet and if I turn up the volume and TTS starts or the camera changes I will subject my household to massively loud earrape and wake them up.

Some rooms should've had special microphones set up (like the confession booth could've had a decent mic setup and some of the kitchen cams could've had 2-3 mics to catch more). I can't tell if they've maybe done that but its unfortunate the end result isn't great right now (it's still miles better than season 1).

Like how they have a live "Director" changing cameras, they should have someone who helps to mix the audio to make it better for the audience too.
