Season 2 of Helluva Boss switches from the somewhat episodic format of season 1 to focus on an extremely gay yaoi ship that follows fanfiction tropes from wattpad but played completely straight with full sincerity. Not enough that one of the characters in the ship is extremely unlikeable yet is constantly babied with zero self awareness.

Vivzie by definition is considered "woke" (given the definition KF goes by) on the virtue that she is a fujoshi through and through.

I don't think Viv is like, actively trying to make bold political statements or anything. Mostly because she seems too immature and disconnected from the world for that sort of thing. She was definitely raised on tumblr and deviant art, but I think her motivations are more or less driven by her degenerate urges. She just likes seeing sad angsty boys lust after each other. I think as long as she gets that, she'll more or less follow the whims of the audience, not necessarily because she really cares about what they think, but more because they do so much of her work for her and it's an easy way to get praise and attention.

I guess to be a little more fair, it's probably like...60% fetish stuff, 20% theater kid dreams and 20% telling what she thinks are "jokes". Maybe a little more tilted towards the theater stuff.

I would have hoped so, but she just can’t be.

Unless she faked her entire media personality spanning all the way from her DeviantArt and FurAffinity years when she drew furry sparkledog AMVs - her hippy socio-political views are profoundly clear in the things she says in her interviews and on her social media.

A poorly developed type of individuals similar to Vivziepop don’t have much to offer besides trying way too hard, by figuratively jumping out of their own skin, to appear unique or obnoxious as humanly possible and not particularly in an edgy or offensive way. Their whole existence is based on this idea of inexplicable energy that they don’t know where to direct, and if they don’t work on facilitating their crazy ideas or giving at least some substance to it and, most importantly, developing awareness of their deeds, they would forever stay in an image of a deranged scizo who talks in screams and communicates like a Homestuck character. I believe that if she truly was ironic about it all I’d expect her to give at least some hints to emphasize it. Otherwise, she’s just a grown ass girl spitting an abundant amount of ideas, never developing a single one of them to the end, and repeating the whole cycle over and over again.

It may also be related to the artistic culture that she grew up in and people she ended up working with, being explicitly liberal and driven by emotional encouragement with little to no criticism and possessing standards that oppose traditional values. This shit messes with your mind and makes you develop a huge ego with a snap of a finger, even if you are a literal nobody.

Well she did make Sausage Party Nazi ocs, and a catcalling comic where the one female that hates being catcalled is put into a more antagonistic light, while the female who doesn't mind it is treated with more sympathy.

People who hate on the shows and Vivziepop will bring this sort of past work up and say that Viv's mindset hasn't changed from ten years ago. So to them I suppose, Viv is "secretly based".

I'd say Viv is somewhere in the middle. While she is more woke than the majority of us on Kiwifarms, she's not woke enough for the Twitter/Tumblr crowd that calls her work problematic.

I literally just woke up (heh), so at the moment, the only explicitly woke thing I can think of is Moxie having some line about “muh capitalism bad” in the Cherubs episode. And that seeming to be a theme with Mammon. Even though Vivziepop would not have gotten as successful and rich as she is without capitalism.
