What? Are you talking about Convoy no Nazo (Mystery of Convoy)? That's the only Transformers NES game I'm aware of and it was only released in Japan. Also, you couldn't play as Optimus Prime in that game, you could only play as Ultra Magnus or Rodimus Prime, neither of which turn into fire trucks.

In Robots in Disguise, Optimus Prime transformed into a fire truck. Now, if you want to get super fucking technical, in the original Japanese Car Robots, it's not Optimus Prime, it's Omega Convoy, but in the english version, it's Optimus Prime and he's a fire truck.

In Transformers Animated, Optimus Prime turns into a fire truck. Sure, he's mostly a semi truck, but the actual vehicle is supposed to be a fire truck, and Prime even had a water cannon to extinguish fires.
