The interesting thing about India is that in trade negotiations, one of their requirements is always some sort of easing of visa restrictions on their citizens, I've never seen other countries do this, they usually just want certain goods that they export to have their tariffs lowered. Why they do this can only be guessed, to relieve pressure at home from over-population? To increase cashflow through remittance? To have their migrants act as Trojan horses? It’s possible to promote india as a counter to China without actually bringing more of them here. India is completely untrustworthy and plays both sides constantly like facilitating Russia getting around American sanctions for ukraine. You could actually argue that it weakens india if we are bringing their top tier people here (I would argue that they are not top tier and that anything out of India is suspicious in terms of tests and paperwork).
But Westerner politicians seem to treat Indian "skilled workers" as some sort of valued commodity and let these things happen.
The more interesting question is what will become of the children of these migrants who will presumably become Americanised. I'm not shilling for them but here in the UK at least, they really do seem to have socio-economic outcomes similar to Whites. You’ll also see lots of Indian hate on even Reddit in computer science and tech subreddits.
One of the things which redpilled me on the race question was the innocuous hypothetical of what it would be like if tomorrow 99% of the people around me were Africans, but they all acted like White people. It's just disconcerting seeing so many foreign faces, regardless of their behaviour.
Now this hypothetical is becoming a reality in many places with the supermajority of the classroom being non-European, even if the children grow up in a Western milleu, at least with Islam you had some force which would prevent cultural and therefore racial integration.
