Reminding everyone that pedophiles like playing kids games to victimize kids is a weird argument. Especially when the issue is that the dev made a game where it's easy to victimize children and seems to be complicit.

My point that if even Nintendo can't prevent questionable content from appearing in their games and communities despite their heavy handed, paid moderators there is no hope a small indie dev can.

Not explicitly supporting 18+ and ERP rooms in your game is probably a good start but who am I to judge.

I still don't think the dev is responsible for the people who use the game, but I think I'm coming around on labelling a lot of the user base as degens after playing more.

I searched reddit for webfishing a few minutes ago and this was the second result.

hate sillyboysclub and their romanticizing and "cute-ifying" of self harm and suicide. It's not "silly slicing", it's self harm. Don't call it "commit bad thing" call it committing suicide. TikTok is almost as bad with forcing people to say shit like "unalive" and it sickens me.

Do those terms make you feel uncomfortable? Good. Feeling uncomfortable about something is a step in the right direction towards realizing that it's something bad, and not something to be romanticized and downplayed, then ending the sentence with ":3" or "UwU" like you didn't just talk about cutting your wrist open.

I want the world to change, and I want mental illness to be recognized as the epidemic it is. But we can't do that if we're constantly babying people and downplaying the severity of self harm and suicide.

I sincerely hope everyone who needs and deserves help gets it, especially the people in that sub

okay, it was the about link that was a problem for me for some reason. yeah, the subreddit is still up and public. fucking abhorrent. i think this might be worse than the run of the mill pedo shit because it exists to encourage not just grooming and pedo shit, but self-harm and probably suicide, as well. and considering how bad the day to day mental health of your average teenage boy already is if they're on reddit in places like this in the first place, it's almost certain doom for these boys.

i hope these fucking niggers all hang themselves. it gets worse every fucking time.
