none of the punches thrown at frank have landed clean, all of them have been glances, a majority of people in the world don't know how to punch and thus don't produce good punches. I've been jumped by 8 untrained people and all of their strikes only produced superficial damage.

In my opinion, resorting to violence against Frank means he wins, he's breaking you. It was even funnier on the director cam with the Blood Games battle music playing in the background, it perfectly cut from Xavier and Burt training in the woods to Payton suddenly hitting Frank without any context.
