I mean it is pretty clear from everything that he is autistic before being schizophrenic - one of his online profiles said that. So while his motivations for understanding right vs wrong may be concerning, at least he understands right vs wrong to begin with.

Theyre both terrible man but burt just tries to save face but has much more overt perversions, and nobody gives a shit since thats just a gay people quirk theyve come to accept through the social normalization of it. Its not really worth even trying to say who is worse, although burt is much more shady and does things he absolutely knows are incredibly creepy that he tries to hide from others, while signal may genuinely think that touching the women is a valid way to flirt.

Considering he has gone through with surgeries to create the illusion of his physique and is so thoroughly goonsick brainrotted I think he has been doing this a while. I think he did it out of desperation as a way to get laid because it's very clear that upon meeting him everyone was uncomfortable, both women and men. Men are just the only people who will give him a time of day and he latches on out of desperation if they are remotely nice to him. Look at how he not only clung to Alex, but Prisoner #3 and Frank. Looking at his "relationship" with Frank I also think he relies on prostitution because he will literally not know what to do without them expressly telling him what they want and a picture on a profile is a lot kinder on him socially than small talk.

I think his speech issues and mannerisms aren't even a result of the SAD he mentioned but mostly his Aspergers. The talking to himself, stuttering, choice paralysis, and monotone voice are common with that and will kill not only any hope at playing pickup artist but just talking to people in general. The SAD I think is more his circular logic and associating things that normally no one would connect the dots of.

I think he's severely goonsick from porn exposure and relying on prostitution for sex and as a result of his lack of social skills and will never form a single meaningful relationship without him getting mega therapy.
