Look into Phobia Indoctrination. It's how cults solidify their hold on people if they can get them cut off from outside viewpoints.
The trannies have been doing it for a few decades, the left in general (thanks to social media algorithms cutting off non-leftists from lefty voices) have been doing it en mass since about 2012. Supposedly the Jews have been doing it as long as they've had control over culture, so, early Hollywood era and beyond?
The reason these people sound so fucking insane? They literally are insane. Not just because of the transsexuality (which is absolutely a mental illness and I hope the Trump admin has the capital to force people to stop pretending it's an identity or choice, but I fear with Title 9 and other changes Obama et all got through, that'll be a tough fight), but because of the "trans genocide" belief. It's a mantra of the cult. "The outsiders wish to destroy us. They wish to kill all of us. Your only safety is with the family. You must never listen to the outsiders. You must never trust the outsiders." Look into "Queer Families" for even more LGBTQP cult stuff that's completely normalized by the left because, in part, questioning the LGBTQP is a sin.
Worse, while some of these people are just indoctrination victims, others are fully aware of what they're doing. They know full well that this keeps young, vulnerable kids terrified and obedient to their "queer families." That it "helps trans youth realize their reality" (read: indoctrinates the next generation).
Now this is just the trannies, and no one cares about them cause they kill themselves if you leave them alone even BEFORE the cult gets them so full of terror they piss themselves whenever they encounter someone who shatters the fantasy world the cult gets them to move into.
But they're doing the same thing to the left in general. "Delete your period apps, they're going to come and take us all away when we're fertile!" "He's literally LITERALLY HIIIITLER LITERALLY HITLER HITLERLITERALLY FASCISTHITLERILITERALLY" "tehyre gonna throw out ALL of our wetback slaves, who will pick the goddamned apples!?!" etc etc.
These are people in the full body throes of a mental breakdown -- and they're just the ones extroverted enough and desperate for attention enough to post on social media for asspats about it, the rest are likely having their quiet freakouts that are worse -- because they've been kept under control for years because of Phobia Indoctrination, and they're being forced to encounter outside and they've been programmed to be instinctively terrified of outside. Where "outside" in this case is "someone else's viewpoints."
I don't know where things go from here. I do know that cults always end two ways -- either everyone drinks the tingly flavor aid when it becomes obvious the comet isn't coming to save them, or everyone starts tossing gas in the subways to maximize the body count of the unbelievers. And thanks to cult-as-a-service social media algorithms -- and this was absolutely intentional -- we have a good 30-50% of the country firmly in the throws of one or more pseudocults using this shit on them. And the first, truest believers, thanks to the right letting the left flee into Academia after the days of rage in the 70s, were the very people we'd need most to undo this -- your shrinks, your educators, et cetera.

You're right, I shouldn't have said that no one likes her. I just don't see the point in running a candidate who has lost multiple times. It's time for someone new in that state. Will Maricopa County and the RINOs stab another MAGA candidate in the back? Maybe, but no sense running the same pincushion.

Why would Russia pick a losing war with NATO, or throw a tacnuke and make China furious with them, and also force NATO to respond to that, when they could just wait a few months? Putin's already demonstrated he has the stomach to throw hundreds of thousands of millions of his men into a meat grinder and has tolerated Ukraine's invasion of Kursk without using nukes. Drones and home-grown/repurposed soviet cruise missiles have already struck as deep as Moscow, and he didn'tuse nukes.
War is lying and deceit, as the journos and troons have so kindly demonstrated. Putin wants you to fear he'd do this or that, but if you slow down and think, or just remember all the red lines we've crossed for the last few years, suddenly it goes from OH NO to "lol there he goes again".

What's actually got me concerned right now is that Hamas leadership is now sheltered in Turkey, which is a NATO member.

I want to see the vote breakdown on those judges. If Dems had 50, then it doesn't matter if the Rs showed up.

Sugar cane production is very important to the region I'm from so I'm biased but just hope whatever they do to curtail the subsidies going toward refined poisons means a minor boon to those historically depressed farmers.

In our own little side of the internet, seeing sites we trusted innately like The Guardian or CNN blatantly lie about stuff we had direct knowledge of or were directly involved with was eye opening. But what really shattered the illusion was seeing every avenue they had control of, from reddit to 4chan, go on an absolute batshit insane religious purge of the unclean. "Alt-Right" was the term they used back then, as they didn't have the cultural inertia for "Nazi" to work. Almost overnight we went from the nerdy gamer guys who were a subculture of the community to literally the personification of all evil and wrongness in the world.

Braun, Daines, Hagerty, Rubio and Vance are all Republicans so it is strange to see them to not vote. In the most ideal of circumstances since the Democrats and the "independents" aligned with them have 51 votes and the Republicans have 49 even if Manchin was voting "No" it would still leave a tie-breaker that would be decided by Kamala Harris.
