They really don't understand this. People are tired of being pay piggies for other people's wars. As soon as we were out of the middle east we immediately went into other place on the other side of the world all so politicians and defense contractors can keep stacking bills.

I don't give a fuck what Russia does.

To them Russia is both falling apart and going to conquer the world.

I haven’t been on this site for over two weeks, and I still could not believe the Pentagon failed their audit for the seventh time in a row. How did they seriously lose $824 BILLION DOLLARS as a budget?

Even if D.O.G.E is a meme, I sincerely do hope Elon and Vivek look into this. I couldn’t tell if this is incompetence or flat out malpractice.

I don't know why everyone thinks that "you either capitulate or we skip to the end!!!!" these days. I think for younger people it's because of how overbearing schools and parents have been. What I never understood is why people immediately jump to the nuclear option when they analyze Russian actions. They could just as well start arming small groups that hit asymmetrically American interests, eg. the Houthi or Hamas/Hezbollah. There are so many effective tools in their arsenal and most of these are equally legitimate as the arming of Ukraine to fight the Russians. Escalation is gradual and aims to make the other guy negotiate, no need to bring the big guns when a simple knee to the groin (hitting Israeli interests) works just as well. I know that Trump may be different, but atm the WH is not his, so I really dont understand why nobody is talking about it.

Seriously, if they just fixed that money black hole there would be so much more money to use to make normal people better off.

All of this ‘we need to get rid of x/y/z’ when the answer is just make sure you aren’t losing money already given or given more afterwards.

I think the Canada thread discussed it and it's not feasible.
However shutting down the revolving door legal system and cracking down on crime with deportations would help a lot. It isn't necessary to have a plan to deport everyone if you can deport the criminals and ensure they stay out.

The next escalation is selling modern anti air to Iran and hooking up Iran and the Houthi's with hypersonic missiles that can sink US warship using the "im not touching you" logic.

The Russians already do all this. Only problem is their modern anti air and hypersonic missiles are Russian, and as such are consequently limper than Jimmy Carter's dick
