My thought on the Bluesky thing is that it's more about maintaining the bubble than an organic thing. Too many high paid celebfags publicly announcing it, it feels like the hivemind doesn't want to risk more followers falling off after being exposed to alternative sources of info.

I think someone mentioned it the other day here but there was a heavy incentive to work indentured servants to death before their terms were up. If they died you didn't have to fulfill your end of the bargain. Arguably worse than slavery imo, at least you have an incentive to take care of the slaves

I don't think it is as coordinated as that, it is just a mass assblasted tantrum. The celebs want to go over there to stop people dunking on their ass for their shit shilling and dog shit political takes. Just pure fucking ego asshurt, not some deep seated political belief. They just want the mocking to stop. But when they need to promote something, they will have to return to X. Because that is where the normies are. They will frame it as "Fighting the fascists on their doorstep". But it will be orders from the studio producers to get back on X and promote the movie. All they will be talking about is their next shit movie or TV show. Normies are the bulk of the users on X. People who don't care as much about politics, people who have their own little bubbles on X. You can see them if you set up your account to not show you political guys. You will see people just continuing life talking about interests and hobby's, life in general. You only see political takes if you engage with political accounts. So the algorithm, sends more and more politically connected posts at you. Till your whole feed is politics. You are only seeing one layer of twitter.
It is why Gab and all the rest failed. X survives on normie engagement. A contingent of political spergs can't hold up a social media platform. Faggotsky will end up like ResetEra, moderated to death. Because progressives eat each other.
