I went through major complications and lost half of my dick shortly after stage one so it feels great finally being in this place of security. I’m debating on glans but even if I go for it it’ll probably be years from now before I actually do it. I’m very happy with things for now!

I had RFF w/ pedicled SCIP flap repair and testicular implants (mediums), no burial, no vnectomy, no scrotoplasty, no UL, and no glans! The implants were put straight into each side, my natal anatomy is untouched otherwise. Bottoming is great and I’ve had amazing reviews!

3 year post op update to my full metoidioplasty and scrotoplsty (flaccid, no implants).

The nerves along my new guche and the seam of my scrotum are fried, but I recovered full feeling with no pain where it matters (the phallus)! I still have one stubbornly large fistula that hasn't healed and can't stand to pee because of it, but decided to make use of its placement and throw in some surgical steel and love it.
No signs of complication like stretched/worsening fistula, strictures, or obstruction.

Surgery was performed October 26th, 2021

**Cost reflects what it would be without insurance coverage.
With insurance my out of pocket was $4,000.

A bilateral oophorectomy, total hysterectomy, and vaginectomy were performed at the same time as full metoidioplasty and scrotoplasty.

RECOVERY: Recovery wasn't as bad as I had expected it to be. The worst of the pain was caused by air bubbles from the hysterectomy, and allergies to the nausea medication (caught early so didn't cause any major problems). Had constant aches and soreness, but nothing pain medication couldn't supress. Stinging from the incisions got annoying if I moved too frequently or sat down at the wrong angle. Swelled up like a balloon in my feet, legs, thighs, and hips towards the end of week 2.
They removed the catheter bag after the first week of recovery, and pulled the SP catheter tube out at week 2.

Two fistulas present, one on the underside of neo phallus, another where the phallus meets the scrotum.
There's an awkward pocket at the base of the new perineum just from healing weird, nothing major.
No sign of retraction currently.

10 weeks out and I've gained MOST sensation back. Still numb along the underside of the phallus and along the perineum in some spots.

Staff: The Mozaic Care team was incredible. All of my concerns were brought to attention and heard, and they made sure I knew I could change anything at any time. They all did what they could to make the experience as comfortable as possible.
Communication was made easy after surgery day as well.

Unpopular opinion, but I find scrotoplasty/“testicular implants” even more horrifying than the actual metoid clit (which is very visceral as it is). It's amazing how resilient the human body is, and how much the body wants to heal after a traumatic event like birth. And yeah, dilators are the last thing you want post-partum, since if you've just pushed a baby out, you've been dilated plenty! But to your point about not shoving stuff up there, you're not even supposed to use tampons for the ~6 weeks of post partum bleeding.

I was under the impression that the scale involved for blood donations was simply too immense to actually do affirmative testing on every sample, and in practice they just rely heavily on people's word in those questionnaires they give you.
