"Mad at the Internet" - a/k/a My Psychotherapy Sessions

Look, I get that Musk is a cringy sperg with a questionable, at best, personal life, but I got legitimately MATI during Null's take on DOGE. Really what Musk and Vivek are describing is a Department of FIRING people.
It would help immensely if there was an appointee, it only takes one person, who was basically joined to Musk at the hip, and whenever he tries to suggest something be called LE DOGE or anything to do with the 24th letter of the alphabet, to shoot him with a taser and electrocute him until he falls down and shits himself. With enough repeated application maybe he'll get a grip and the part of his brain that's useful will operate unimpeded. He's an old fucking man, and all the meme shit does is make people not take proposals seriously because it highlights how he's a manchild.

An autonomous neural link rectal implant would be more efficient and on brand for Musk.

Rep. Nancy Mace is in the news for putting a "biological" sign over the women's restroom after a fag in a dress was elected for federal government for Delaware.

MSNBC may not have its name for long.

The network, along with its sister business network CNBC, could have to change its name after its parent company Comcast announced on Wednesday it will spin off nearly all of its cable networks, splitting MSNBC from NBC News. The cable channels, which also include USA Network, the Golf Channel and a handful of websites such as Fandango and Rotten Tomatoes, would become part of a new company tentatively named SpinCo.

But newly installed SpinCo CEO Mark Lazarus told MSNBC staffers on Wednesday that he did not know what would happen to the brand’s name, Variety reported.

The meeting included MSNBC talent such as Rachel Maddow, Chris Jansing, and Katy Tur. The Daily Beast first reported on Wednesday that MSNBC president Rashida Jones would show him around its 30 Rockefeller Plaza headquarters.

Lazarus also couldn’t answer specific questions about whether MSNBC’s news-gathering operation would change, according to. MSNBC shares multiple reporters, contributors, and even the most basic technology for putting its show on air with NBC News. Much of the talent that fills MSNBC’s daytime hours also report for NBC News, though not the opinion commentators that anchor its primetime offerings.

MSNBC had no comment to the Daily Beast’s questions.

Comcast announced on Wednesday that it would spin its various cable networks—including MSNBC, CNBC, USA Network, and E!—into a newly formed independent company run by Lazarus. Comcast CEO Brian Roberts said the move would “set these businesses up for future growth,” while NBCUniversal CEO Mike Cavanagh said the two companies would independently “play offense in a changing media landscape.” The move reflected the network would abandon the cable news business in an era consumed by cord-cutting and pivots to streaming.

Lazarus described the new company as a “well-funded start-up,” according to Variety, that may look to acquire a TV-station group or a sports operation—both facets of the NBCUniversal family it left behind. But whether that start-up remains at 30 Rock was also unclear. Lazarus said the new company would have a presence in Manhattan, though its new headquarters would be determined later, according to Variety.

MSNBC was founded as a partnership between Microsoft and NBC in 1996 as a network dedicated to news, commentary, and analysis, though it has since veered largely into liberal-leaning opinion programming. While still usually No. 2 in cable news ratings after Fox News, it has taken hit after hit in the last month.
MSNBC trounced CNN in election-night ratings for the first time ever with 6 million viewers tuning in, but it later saw its ratings crash later that week to a total of 600,000 average viewers. (Semafor reported on Sunday the ratings had bounced back after President-elect Donald Trump’s Cabinet appointments.)

Its talent has also rankled feathers. Morning Joe hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski shocked their viewers on Monday by revealing they traveled to Mar-a-Lago to meet with Trump after years of warning them of his threats to the nation.

A source close to the show told the Daily Beast the move was “f---ing worth it,” as it prompted Trump to tamp down his tone on the press, but the move appeared to alienate their viewers: It lost 38 percent of its audience in the advertiser-focused age 25-54 demographic by its next hour

This is what the guy was responding too, a video of some busker playing Careless Whisper on a harp while some old bitch asks her if she's got a loisence.

Here's the harp player's direct video of the encounter if you don't want to give a twitter engagement farmer attention.
The old bitch threatens to report her to Karen Council for playing music. She's convinced that she's begging because, like every other busker before her, she has something asking for money if people enjoyed themselves. If she wasn't begging she'd be doing it for free.
England is so fucked, I only saw one White person walking in the background.

it takes hours to upload shit, fuck off
Isn't RSS like the least internet dependent thing you do tho? Bro, I'm not kidding: the difference between the times when you have the RSS feed up vs. when you don't actually impacts my quality of life. I'm not sure why the ability to download from Odysee also seems to not be working, but that takes forever due to video even when it is. As it stands, I just end up missing MATI for moths at a time, seemingly at random. You really do have a good podcast. It's just very frustrating how hard it is to download.

Believe me, I understand and feel for your plight. I'm just saying that getting the RSS working is probably one of the best bang for your buck things you can do.

Really what Musk and Vivek are describing is a Department of FIRING people.
I'm cautiously optimistic. They wanted to get Ron Paul to help and if they do I think the crazy bastards could actually make some serious positive change. I want them to go full Milei and AFUERA a ton of parasitic, bloated shit.

Well that's not what they do. They do the usual government things, which are to waste money, possibly while acting as a millstone on taxpayers, and definitely while protecting and growing their own bureaucracy.

Look, I get that Musk is a cringy sperg with a questionable, at best, personal life, but I got legitimately MATI during Null's take on DOGE. Really what Musk and Vivek are describing is a Department of FIRING people. Yes, 'efficiency' is in the gay 'DOGE' name, but if you listen to what Vivek is talking about it is eliminating large swaths of Federal agencies, functions, and the corresponding employees, along with a legal arguments for being able to do so. Efficiency starts with not having legions of useless employees either doing nothing, or even worse, finding more B.S. to inflict upon productive citizens.

As for the Federal agencies/departments that Null was rattling through, none of those are actually concerned with the largest form of waste, excess Federal employees, or probably any waste at all. Plus he had some of them absolutely backwards from what they actually do. Pretty sure that one is actually the Dept. of 'Federal worker job protection,' not efficiency. Putting GSA in the same sentence as efficiency is a fucking joke. Somewhat ironic that minutes later he floated his theory, possibly/probably right, on the IRS being the most bloated organization in history. These two sets of claims don't square with each other.
Musk is a modern day PT Barnum. He's basically just Professor Harold Hill with less rizz.

The RSS just lists the files. The files have to live somewhere public, that means the files have to be uploaded. And as I recall maybe even multiple times if they need to be processed and then uploaded to their final destination(s). And all of that requires working Internet which is likely in competition with trying to keep the site itself running.

Same way Null can talk about how voting is fake and gay and in the next sentence talk about voting numbers and demographics like if he believed they did not all get put into a woodchipper (to clarify, I understand your "reduce voter turnout logic", where you lose me is the votes are meaningless part because if that where the case, there would be no upsets or need to rig). I just think he's very good at compartmentalizing pieces of information to a point that they don't cross with each other and leads to these disconnect moments. Musk and Vivek's thing is the thing I'm most excited to see in action due to how Musk pretty much goes in without mercy and cleaves the fat in anything he analyses. Yes, he could have been assigned as the lead of one of the 9 fake efficiency agencies as well, but I imagine he really wanted the damn meme and Trump went all "thanks Elon, very cool" about it and if he destroys, said 9 fake efficiency agencies, but fucks the IRS and carves a bloody path in other US agencies, it will be pure gold.
I, hypocrite sharing an extremely true and honest update from the sneed county police department about those stupid fucking whore foids.

... I really am sad that trashy tattoos are the norm nowadays. I remember when tattoos were a rarity and now everyone and their mother is sporting a few.

He could call it the dickbutt coalition and I would give 0 shits as long as it actually does what they are advertising. Lets stop jacking off about "presentability" and focus on results. Of course, if he decommissions nothing I'll consider Musk a gigantic fuck up, but after the great twitter purge, I have high hopes.
"And like Moses, the chosen people must keep marching through the desert in search of the promised land..."

Jesus fuck, not being able to post unsolicited porn really hurts these people.

Musk is a modern day PT Barnum. He's basically just Professor Harold Hill with less rizz.
His battery cars suck ass and I will not have sex with them. His Tesla wall shit is pointless for most of his customers as well. At least Starlink actually provides a needed internet service alternative.

Elon firing 75% of twitter employees was awesome. Tech companies especially, but large corporations in general, have massive numbers of pointless do-nothing e-mail job employees. Google and Facebook are able to cut costs by axing tens of thousands of workers without batting an eye. There are YT channels and books written about no-work jobs in tech. I know someone in BioTech-Pharma, and am very familiar with the major name company he works at. His conservative estimate was that they could easily lay off 25% of their thousands and thousands of employees and not miss any real productivity. The Federal system is likely much worse in terms of pointless no-work employees.
I want them to go full Milei and AFUERA a ton of parasitic, bloated shit.

Musk knows quite well about the level of bloat in modern orgs, and Vivek has the legal theories and plans for slashing Federal workers. There is a historical precedent for this and it goes back to out favorite demonic cripple, FDR. He had an individual that was his axe, or hatchet man, that was in charge of slashing government waste. They would target the segments of the Federal government that were not cooperating with FDR's demonic cripple plans. SO it was a means of consolidating executive power in the name of eliminating waste. Slightly different, but important historical reference.

An alternate reality where there is a community enforced rule where every user must have a thread is not too far fetched.
It's called the Profile Page, just click on people's names and call them fat retarded niggers and if they respond with anything other than a like or heart sticker, you got a big bass on the line.

My bigger worry is that both know what to ax and how to proceed but the legal tape becomes too much of a nightmare to properly execute in any timely manner. I have no idea how easy or hard it is to fire government people in the US, but in eurocuckistan, it's VERY difficult.
