I've seen it appear in a couple ads here and there, but I had no idea what it was or why I should care.

Herman Hulst and his hard-on for Horizon: Zero Interest has been a disaster for Sony. He needs to go.

Do you actually? Last I recall Game Pass (Cloud Gaming) worked in any Chromium browser.

I assume any browser will work fine, but obviously Microsoft want to shill their shitty Chrome knock-off as hard as they can because they're desperate to claw back some market share.

I was in favor of the ABK buyout as a solution for a company that was tanking hard.

I recall seeing a tweet somewhere that said Horizon is an industry plant franchise and I 100% believe it because I've not seen a single person online or among my friend group ever talk about it except to say "They're still making games for it?"

But a lot of the stuff his leaker told him makes sense to me.

TL;DR Sony of Japan and of America are in active conflict with each other. The Kadokawa buy out is the Japan side attempting to reorient Sony to be more Japancentric. Kadokawa is also being eyed by Tencent so expect that shit to get messy. Kadokawa's director already stated he doesn't want to be owmed by China.

Sony of America got a lot of goodwill with Naughty Dog's reputation up to Last of Us, as well as God of War and Spider Man 2018 selling well. But all 3 sequels underperformed, Tsushima did great which was closer to what Japan wants to push now and on a smaller budget. Days Gone sold more than TLoU 2 but Naughty dog used their reputation to kill the sequel in the crib due to fear of it outstaging them.

The other gay multiplayer game, fairweather or whatever is close to getting axed as well and there is pushback from Japan to depoz Yotei and Wolverine. I expect them to fail miserably.

I don't think we have anything to fear from a Sony-Kadokawa buyout. Japs will either cuck out, be quiet, and listen when the negress is speaking in their RPG slopshit and garbage cartoons or they will withdraw from those economies. Non-jap normies will of course do as they have always done with wokescold propaganda and either passively buy into it or boycott it altogether. Sony will shut down FromShitware when Concord Souls flops, and all future Soulsslop will be moved to California where jeets and gender studies grads who will learn Unreal Engine mid-production will handle development. Those will flop harder, Sony will lose more money, and Soulsslop will finally die. Anime will also finally die because people only watch it for cartoon tiddies, not to be lectured by vaginalplasty sheboons. Perhaps competitors will try to fill the void but I don't think weebs will ever recover after Luffy french kisses a bulldyke mulatto troon and leaves the show.

GTA 6 will release to large amounts of sales but will not make a profit due to the ungodly amount of millions spent developing and promoting it, and it will likely be mired with game breaking bugs Cyberpunk style as well as countless microtransactions for the online mode which, by the way, will not carry over progress from GTA 5. They will probably not give refunds, and people are going to get angry. Instead of waiting months and years for the most anticipated game ever to get fixed, they may start returning their consoles if they can't play the one game they bought them for, leading to great financial losses for Sony and Microsoft. Also, maybe mobs of angry sonyggers will gather outside their California headquarters when they refuse to fix their welfare-funded PS5 Pros that are stuck on green screens. The Playstation division of Sony will finally die after repeated devastating financial losses. Sony in Japan will be okay because they have their all-encompassing empire. Microsoft will continue making shitty spyware.
