I wanted to post this a couple hours ago, but I didn't want to have to subject anyone to his monotone voice. This video was probably the only one of his to have any actual useful/amusing information in it. Usually he's just click baiting and talking around his point for 10 minutes.

I liked Horizon.

I just got bored with it. Got beyond the tutorial area, did some longnecks and just went "yep, I think I'm good". That I got it at around the same time as Nier Automata did not help it's case at all.

I liked the story. Making "Giant Robot Dinosaurs Roam The Earth" almost believable was an interesting twist.

The aesthetics of the world and dinosaurs were great (pretiest water I'd seen on the PS4), the actual plot did nothing for me and Alloy even less. I probably could have soldiered on if the game had more melee options, but that's a me problem since I'm not too keen on reticule ranged combat.
But I'd started Nier at the same time and that game blew my mind. So going from a plot that had me completely hooked to whatever Horizon was trying to tell was a big step down. After that I went into yakuza 0 and Persona 5 and the propect of going back to Horizon never came up.

No shit it it didn't sell well, I had never even heard of the game until now. I think this is more the fault of advertising than anything.

It also didn't help that the game was literally on-rails, had very strange UI and design choices, (i.e. the 85 FPS lock, and Alt-Tabbing will pause the game) and the combat was sluggish and awful to play. The fact that AMD was giving out codes for this game with their products (which people only used to write negative Steam reviews), and yet the best they can do was 300 players on Steam, REALLY showed how badly this game missed the mark.

CDPR have said they "have no plans to make" a patch for PS5pro for Cyberpunk. Meaning the best place to play the game is....PC!

Supposedly Sony is selling it that it's the Japanese side, but we all know that the commiefornia virus devours all, so hopefully the Kadokawa will notice the stench of white piggu in the air. If I have to chose between cali niggers and chinks, I rather have the chinks, but neither is ideal.

Sony should go full divide and have Hulst run Playstation california and deal with all of the western woke shite, then bring Playstation Japan back from the ashes to deal with all Eastern devs, even making a console suited to that market, and let the east and west fight it out.
