I introduced the fumble chart into a game Mashengo was in, and we had a player who had a bad habit of knocking himself out with the fumble chart because he ran a crit fishing build with as many attacks as possible which ended up being mostly just funny. That and the wizard who rolled the same fumble of summoning an evil eagle enough times that another party member bought an eagle, painted it the same color as the summoned one, and terrorized him with it.

This also helps mitigate the problem where characters more adept at combat are paradoxically more likely to trip and faceplant because of multiple attacks. When Luce Bree the 20th level monk inevitably rolls a 1 during one of his 17 attack rolls that round, it's much more likely to be a normal miss than if Bob the 3rd level wizard rolls a 1 while using the Crossbow of Shame.
As I recall, the splatbook for Blessed characters had rules for playing a rabbi. The perfect thing for bringing a little bit of Blazing Saddles to the Weird West. (Or, given the way most Deadlands games go, a little more.)
