Tabletop Roleplaying Games (D&D, Pathfinder, CoC, ETC.)

I fired up Flux AI and Made you guys a thing (affectionate).

That is 100% how I feel I generally think if we brought back legalized dueling people would stop it with the low IQ character assassinations.

But to get it back on track has anybody played the 6th edition yet it looks awful I'll probably pirate it and make fun of it on this thread later this week

Pulling out a fumble table every time someone rolls a 1 has the same energy as some millenial faggot arguing that his level 3 artificer should be able to build a nuclear reactor because he rolled a 20 on a crafting check.
Anyone who pulled that, I'd be fine, but on a 1-19 you are a crispy critter fried by ionizing radiation. Calms them right the fuck down from their "I roll to jump up and grab the Moon out of the sky" type bullshit.

I usually have player roll again on a natural 1 to see how bad it is. 11+ its just a miss, 6-10 you have a minor fuckywucky like you might grant combat advantage for a turn or be at -1 or 2 for attacks, 2 or 3 to 5 you get either a worse penalty or a longer one (depends on battle), and 1 (and sometimes two depending on situation) the dice clearly want your dead and as the GM I am but a conduit for their will. Expect to need to go retrieve your weapon at a minimum.

I also ruled during my most recent 4e campaign that Enounters/Dailies were immune from negative effects of fumbles as just having the attack miss was penalty enough.
I introduced the fumble chart into a game Mashengo was in, and we had a player who had a bad habit of knocking himself out with the fumble chart because he ran a crit fishing build with as many attacks as possible which ended up being mostly just funny. That and the wizard who rolled the same fumble of summoning an evil eagle enough times that another party member bought an eagle, painted it the same color as the summoned one, and terrorized him with it.

I suppose that's an unintended consequence of using some sort of nat 1 consequence that it discourages what is often a very slow playstyle. Either they don't bother, or they go whole hog anyways, and we get things like "Gimgus knocks himself retarded with the flat of his blade in the middle of combat and only comes to when the battle is over."

If all you legal Kiwis I have a legitimate legal question say I had a bunch of stuff I worked on but I worked on it with someone else and I'm no longer friends with X person if I change all the stuff I worked on can that person sue me and any copyright dispute.
Because I've realized something I am awesome and freaking epic and I never needed those people they did teach me a lot but they stabbed me in the back

my gym likes critical fumbles a lot so basically we ended up being chased by a group of phantom puppies so the archivist which is a weird DND class where you literally use books moments to attack people grew an extreme fear of puppies so much so that she would murder all the dogs anytime we came across them and we had an entire side quest to rid her of a fear of puppies.

The player handbook is probably the most anti-white and anti-heterosexual Dungeons and Dragons have gotten so far. Even for 5E standards, it's comically woke.
Is there a version of this video by somebody who knows what the fuck they're talking about? Because this willowy voiced faggot seems like he couldn't find his own arsehole with both hands and a map.

He's a retarded "ComicsGate" faggot.

All those fumbles are baby shit compared to Pendragon where if you fumble a passion roll, you go mad and are out of the game until the GM decides you can come back. And you can't avoid rolling passions because if your passion is high enough, rolling it is mandatory when it applies. 1 in 20 chance of losing a character for indeterminate amount of time is pretty rough.
Have a maiden around your knight to comfort them and its all good!
If thou art maidenless a firend of the knight could clash swords with the maddened knight to bring him down.
God i love Pendragon 5.2 so much! I have persuaded some players to play it. Hope to at least cover the Uther times!

Ironsworn: Starforged is pretty fun when playing solo. You're basically writing your own story while occasionally rolling dice.

My table uses them for PF, we mitigate this by confirming them like crits. That is to say that if you roll a 1 on an attack roll, you then roll a second time and if you miss it's a fumble. Keeps them from happening too often, and has led to some very fun moments.
We are deeply autistic chanting of "FUMBLE CHART" starts whenever a 1 is rolled though, so that may bias this.
This also helps mitigate the problem where characters more adept at combat are paradoxically more likely to trip and faceplant because of multiple attacks. When Luce Bree the 20th level monk inevitably rolls a 1 during one of his 17 attack rolls that round, it's much more likely to be a normal miss than if Bob the 3rd level wizard rolls a 1 while using the Crossbow of Shame.

As I recall, the splatbook for Blessed characters had rules for playing a rabbi. The perfect thing for bringing a little bit of Blazing Saddles to the Weird West. (Or, given the way most Deadlands games go, a little more.)

I remember that I made a Man in Black who was a massive weeb and took the martial arts powers. I was blatantly ripping off Johnny from Guilty Gear.

I hope Elon Musk buys WOTC just to shutdown them down and put big Tits elves and Dragonborn in Dungeons and Dragons again.
He just needs to buy D&D. They've done more damage to that than they have to Magic The Gathering. I would also get rid of all the shit in the lore from various products that is from 4th Edition and up.

That would be pretty cool, but I think Hasbro is clinging to Dungeons and Dragons specifically to throw woke slop onto it. DnD was never a big money maker but it gets a lot of attention. Might as well use that to shovel your propaganda and get those DEI bucks from blackrock, then make the real money selling cardboard.

I thought everybody might like this it's the creator of greyhawk DM ING

Hasbro is a publicly traded company Ellen could easily buy it it's only worth about $20 billion he's got that he could also buy GW quite easily it's only worth 3 billion the point is Ellen should buy both and put the last surviving original creator in charge of DND and put the last surviving original creator of warhammer back in charge of gW
