Your favorite nootropic? - What chems you shooting into your brain this week! ( no source talk )

Any of those nootropics that don't need prescriptions? No, nicotine doesn't count, unless it's in pouch mode - And even then I am afraid of adverse effects. I want something that helps me alongside the Ritalin I already take.

Piracetam used to be OTC here in Brazil, but then they changed it to be prescription-only for some damn reason. The only time I took it was wonderful and helped me in my final year of college.
Most of them in the u.s are not even scheduled like aspirin. They are "research chemicals" that you get and thats it. They do have some powerful ( more effective ) effects on some of them but you are not going to get meth/coke levels on any of them unless you take 20x the dosage.

You fucking madman, you actually did it! I love you man!
:feels:

I took another dose around 1030 last night (2 hours after last dose), it was visibly less; (1/2 or 3/4) Still tasted like ass despite drinking a glass of Coca Cola with it. Maybe it was because I just ate 1000 calories within the last half hour before I took it alongside some iron and another Alpha GDC pill but I felt like I was gonna vomit from the taste, aftertaste still lingered for a good 5 minutes.

I got to work and around 1130 I was wired to all hell. I ended up studying from 11-2 straight before I felt the effects fade and ate lunch. Got through like 6 hours of studying, all I have left is another 2 and a half hours now. The weird part was I wasn’t really paying attention but I was still getting good scores on the reviews.

I usually try to do 90-120m of studying a day at work but I really managed to power through with this. Apparently you can’t take it more than 3x a week or else you develop a resistance, which is quite a shame.

I ordered mine in powder form from the same place you did (if your pic in the OP is yours) but I didn’t get a measuring instrument, so I ordered a mg scale and GPC Choline for next time.

MY NIGGER welcome to an elevated state of mind! You see how it's really smooth and not super aggro but productivity is fucking too notch? Amazing shit I told ya!

I used CDP choline idk how much a diff it makes but that's what I would go with. I didn't know you had the powder form, so yeah that's dope.

Can you go into more detail about how your productivity improved and what you noticed the most? What changes you like or don't like? How was your memory retention and ability to process new information and questions? Yeah the life span of the effects are a bit short but it ingests very quickly so not the worst thing ever.

Now the resistance is kinda bullshit because you just get used to an elevated state and don't notice it as much but for me at least it stayed effective. I did 15 days straight and it was fine. I was not as "boosted" as I was before but I was still deff alot better off

It might've been placebo but I was definitely more motivated, like I said, I only study for 90-120m a day and that is fucking agonizing for me while I just shat out the middle half (6 hours worth) of the video portion of my certification no problem

I also didn't feel tired, and I work in a windowless building in the middle of the night where thats a big concern; to the point where I risk sleeping in my chair for 2-4 hours a night since no one comes in. I had this feeling in my eyes that I like to associate with being tired/alert that was there and I felt really 'aware' of what I was doing.

I also found myself getting distracted less; I was also farming for election salt and I found myself stopping that more often and just sitting and watching the videos.

When I was doing the review portions, I was getting 2/3 or all of them right as well.

The only issue I really had was I had a slight gripping headache that came and went for about 5 minutes and the fact that it fell off only 4 hours in lmao

Yeah, drink more water with it, and that sounds about right for 4 hours. You can of course, simply take more but this sounds about right, you got exactly it's intention. You get more level headed focus out of the stuff and are able to be more stable though the day. Like I said it's not an upper in the classic sense but you have more access to what you normally can do and better at it. Keep trying it to see where else it benefits you, i know you will find a really good niche for it.

The CDP choline I took helped with the headache for me atleast as that helps your brain consume the right amount of protein to be able to use what you are doing with it properly. and you can take more of it all day if you really want. Caffeine has worse side effects than this stuff.

If you want to run anything else by me, don't hesitate to drop a line. This is however the long and short of the compound unless you have some experience or idea you want me to help clarify.

After trying all of them? None.
Research chems is where it's at.

In interest of helping @PointOfNoReturnPoint start a lively thread I'll post this here as well:

I was studying for the CompTIA Project+ which is a entry level-ish Project Management certification. I'm more of an IT guy so this doesn't really interest me but it'd be nice to have as I progress in my career.

My normal mode of studying is to take the video course, of which I get bored a little bit in because I'm skullfucking myself with 30 hours of instruction, then take practice tests and go over what I missed which has always (6 out of 6 times) managed to get me the certification.

I took a 16 hour course with this one and got bored a good bit faster as I pointed out earlier in this page, so I took some phenylpiracetam (unknown dose because i didn't have a mg scale lol, prob around 500-800g twice) and managed to kill the remaining 6 hours of video courses in a day (I usually get 2 done with extreme difficulty/boredom issues)

I did this about 3 times, second time (500mg twice) wasn't as good but I did it during my practice tests. Since I didn't really care for the certification's contents I made the dumbass decision to only do half of my practice test studying. 3rd time (800mg once) I just fucked off and watched youtube videos because I didn't care for the cert still.

Today was test day, and right before I left I remembered that I still had some phenylpiracetam so I took 1.1g and drove over to the center. It was a 45m~ drive so it had a good amount of time to kick in and by the time I sat down it was working.

I "finished" the test in about 38m which is a little quicker (usually 45-50m) than what I usually do, but I took 27m going over everything which was a little longer (usually 10-20m)

Passing would be 710/900 and I got a 721/900 which is the worst I've gotten but seeing how CompTIA wants you to actually know your shit (to an extent) and I hate project management/management due to a prior job I had, I would cite the phenylpiracetam usage as giving me that last boost over the finish line.

Also of note is that it usually takes me 1-2~ months to get a certification from CompTIA; Security+ took 2-3 months and A+ took 2 (only because of each core test) while I started studying on Nov 1 and just got it today (18 days)

This dude really just randomly bought the shit out of some random nootropic on here went whole hog and just fucking won his test cert cause of it. This really happened!

caffeine can have its negatives negated by and large with l-thiamine and makes it more effective. The jitters go away as well as being able to focus alot more due to your stress levels being managed properly by the theanine. It's a real one two punch for being productive.
But what they're describing is literally tea. It's caffeine and l-theanine. You don't need to add l-theanine to coffee.

Personally I don't think tea is useful as a "drug" while coffee is. To me the l-theanine just counteracts the effects of the caffeine entirely. If I'm drinking tea, it's for the taste of it. The caffeine+l-theanine combination you're describing results in a psychoactive effect so mild as to be barely perceptible from homeostasis, in my opinion.

Tea might not be effective to some people for whatever reason. Metabolism or maybe the taste is not what they want.

I remember when redditards wouldnt shut up about these in like 2012

I took modafinil and didnt do shit, not even keep me awake, guess no nootropics would work for me then?

Adderall its illegal in my country because its medical meth

Semax supposedly helps with memory, of which mine is shit, and PE.22.28 helps with elevating mood and also memory.
Ah, I don't really have a problem with that given the rest of my stack so no real need here but thanks anyway.

Just cause that didn't work doesn't mean something else wouldn't. The human body is wildly varied but if you keep looking you'll find something you can use.
