Plagued The Alt-Right

4chan has always been the mentally ill asylum of the internet, and many of those who would've been diagnosed with Aspergers, BPD etc 30 years ago are now pushed into the GID box because it's a lot simpler and more profitable to tell a bunch of crazies they'd get better if they cut their dicks off- and significantly more advantageous financially. If 40% anhero? Yeah well, nothing of value is lost anyway.
For a guy who dislikes schizo American urbanites, you sure do come across as one.

You ever think the only reason it's still even up and running despite all the cucking it's been through is solely to keep the schizos, boomers and pedoforks away from everyone else? And what makes me laugh is just how often they'll mock autism, yet every board I've been on, they're arguably far more autistic than they let on.

Hypocrisy is as essential to the Chans as Mountain Dew is to Bob Chipman.

Interesting. Twitter agitator Douglass Mackey ('Ricky Vaughn'), known for his ties to online conservative forum 'My Posting Career' (a more cancerous Somethingawful spinoff) was involved with a company called 'Smartcheckr', run by his paymaster, Richard Schwartz.

It's come out this month that Smartcheckr is behind a project called 'Clearview AI'. Other edgy conservative types involved in Clearview AI include Peter Thiel, Chuck Johnson, and Pax Dickinson.

Apparently, Mackey's role at Smartcheckr involved collecting Facebook profiles of far-right people, including gaining access to controversial GOP candidate Paul Nehlen's Facebook followers by offering to provide services to improve his targeting of advertising to potential supporters.

So let's look at a couple news stories related to Smartcheckr/Clearview AI:
The 'terrorist subject' who Smartcheckr claims to have identified (though the NYPD denies it) seems to have been some random white guy from West Virginia who left some rice cookers around in the subway for laughs.

Hmm.. so basically, Mackey seems to have been collecting images and metadata related to right-wingers so that his boss Richard Schwartz could use it to scan surveillance video and arrest them (or fit them up) for discarding kitchenware, graffiti, etc? Very interesting.
Interesting update on United States v. Mackey- as of Feb 7, cuckservative operative Douglass Mackey has himself a new lawyer- ✡︎Andrew James Frisch✡︎.

Racist forums maven Thomas777 on the alt-right, authenticity, and the Eternal Summer of internet right-wing ideology...couldn't have said it better myself. Evergreen in 2020.

I'm reviving this corpse for umm, research motivations.
Some OG of the Salo forums or w/e redpill me on why Thomas777 is such a revered figure. I followed his TG and his takes are mundane, familiar and boring. The fact that he's older and he understands the Internet when it was younger is cool, but somewhat irrelevant, many of us who were online in IRC rooms, bombing Yahoo chats, learning about esoteric hallucinogens on Erowid and Lycaeum, downloading lyrics from some obscure alternative bands and picking up "women in the area" before anything like dating apps or smartphones were a thing.
So what's the mystique around this dude, I am eager to learn.

Pardon me for bumping this thread, but since Thomas777 came up, I'll chime in. The guy had a penchant for pithy assessments of problems plaguing the online right from the perspective of someone on the right and could, at times, put into concrete terms what those problems could be. Bear in mind I have my disagreements and contentions with him (his unkind words about Jim Goad among many others), but he could turn a phrase quite well which drew the attention and brief intrigue of people like Borzoi who'd periodically quote him on The Third Rail. This was a particular favorite of Borzoi's from him:
I think in America you’re “liberal” if you want Negroes to gangbang your daughter, and you’re “conservative” if you want one Negro to marry her and start behaving himself.
Thomas777 is reportedly a lawyer although I'm not sure what his credentials might be as I don't have his legal name.

Thomas777 started to fall out of favor within TRS after others took issues with him allegedly grifting. He briefly joined Poast before getting dogpiled by some of the regulars over there.

@Terrorist might be able to fill us in on more details, but this is what I could come up with at the top of my head.

Here's Borzoi's opinion on him:

I have a strong feeling the grifting accusations are legitimate. He's basically ebegging and been doing it for quite a while. He's also writing like a retard. He talked with Keef Woods at Amren, and he was nearly falling asleep. Considering alleged past opiate use, yeah.

I think it's time to give the Alt-Right a postmortem.

The Alt-Right was one of the few organic movements on the Internet where many right-wingers became disillusioned with traditional right-wing politics. It was a response to conservative politicians that didn't wanted to listen to their right-wing base and often go against the interests of right-wingers (a lot of people were not satisfied with the Bush's and Cheney's and Romney's of the time).

So the Alt-Right formed from several disillusioned right-wingers that wanted to form an alternative to American conservatism. When Trump came into the picture, the Alt-Right made the wise choice to back him and went mainstream. However, much like how Occupy Wall Street attracted grifters.that killed that movement, the same thing happened to the Alt-Right.

The Alt-Right failed to gatekeep the grifters and fedposters out of their movement that would cause the movement to rot away from the inside out. People and groups like Richard Spencer, Christopher Cantwell, American Renaissance, Nick Fuentes, Milo Yiannopoulos, and many others would worm their way into the Alt-Right with mostly of the grifters being fascists and thinking Trump was going to be the next Hitler. It seemed like nothing could stop the Alt-Right.

But then August 11th came and we got the now infamous 'Unite the Right' rally and this is where I think the Alt-Right jumped the shark. From August 11th to the 12th of 2017, many right-wingers (most of them being fascists and religious nationalists) would rally in Charlottesville, Virginia (funny enough this city is one of Chris-Chan's favorite hang out spots) to show the world who they are and what they stand for. Left-wing protestors would show up to counter-protest the Unite the Right rally. But on August 12th, the alt-righter would seal the fate of the Alt-Right by using their Dodge Charger to run over a left-wing protestor and killed the protester in cold blood. This violent action would forever tarnish the image of the Alt-Right as this gave news media plenty of material to work with on why they think the Alt-Right are a bunch of violent fascist terrorists.

The Alt-Right went downhill from that point on after the Unite the Right rally. From 2017 and onward, the Alt-Right began losing its momentum as there was a lot of infighting and groups like the Groypers and Christian Nationalists would split away from the Alt-Right. By the end of Trump's presidency in 2020, the Alt-Right was no more as it as lost much of its momentum since 2017.

So what is the lesson to be learned here? If there is one thing both Occupy Wall Street and the Alt-Right have in common is that when you don't gate keep political extremists with no self-awareness out of your movement, when you allow grifters and con artists to speak on your behalf, and when you don't understand that what you do and say in-front of a crowd can make you look like a fool then your movement will collapse faster than the Twin Towers on 9/11. The Alt-Right is now dead but lives on now in the form of the Groypers and Christian Nationalists but they are nowhere near as influential as the old Alt-Right was. The Alt-Right will be remembered the same way people remember Occupy Wall Street, with only disgust and cringe.

So here is something I also like to add to this conversation in me revisiting this thread.

One thing I remember that the Alt-Right used to preach about was demographics. By this I mean what they preached back in the day is that if America becomes less white, the progressives will take over and America will never vote for another right-wing president or any other sitting member of Congress that leans to the Right ever again. The idea behind this came from the fact that the White American population is in the decline (to be fair, population data and statistics are showing this to be the case with white people not having that many kids anymore) and with minority populations (like latinos) are outbreeding white people and the Jews are behind this conspiracy, this is known as the White Replacement theory that is popular with various white supremacist groups and other far-right groups (because no doomsday prophecy is complete unless you involve the Jews and Israel somehow).

The demographics thing has its origins in stuff like The Turner Dairies (a novel written by the neo-Nazi known as William Luther Peirce which tells the story of a white supremacist group that violently overthrows the American government where white people are oppressed in America and minorities run everything) and The Camp of the Saints (a novel written by French author Jean Raspai that tells the story of Europe and other Western countries opening their borders to refugees from India but creates a race relations problem). The White Replacement theory isn't anything new and this has its origins in the 1970's when white supremacist groups and others on the extreme right didn't liked how the Western world was getting more progressive and younger people being different compared to how Americans were decades prior.

So back to the Alt-Right's view on demographics. What the Alt-Right failed to foresee at the time was the possibility that said minority groups living in America may as well vote for the Right anyway and it has happened in America before. One example of this is the Irish because there was a point in time that the Irish were not considered White and were seen as inferior as blacks way back in the day (up until the 20th century, many considered the Irish to be an inferior race and the same was said about other European ethnic groups that weren't considered white at the time). The Irish used to voted for the Democrats but by the 1960's, the Irish population America began voting for the GOP because they felt like the Democrats were leaving them behind; so if the Democrats won't listen to them then maybe the GOP will. Now the Irish often votes for the GOP in every election cycle.

This brings to my main point which is the Alt-Right was completely wrong about demographics and elections. The 2024 elections in America proved that you don't really need white people for America vote right-wing. The 2024 elections were shocking and not just because of Trump making a big comeback in the world of politics but because of how various groups in America voted for. More latinos voted for Trump, more black people voted for Trump, and Jews (despite historically voting for the Democrats) saw a significant shift to the Right in how they voted. I still vividly remember people like Richard Spencer preached about how you need a predominantly white demographic for the American Right to stay alive, the 2024 elections proved that to not be the case and what you really need is a good political platform and a good message to get people to vote for you; much like how the Irish have stopped voting Democrat a long time ago when the Democrats couldn't really offer them something they wanted at the time.

My whole thing is why they focus so much on jews? I'm not saying there aren't jews that hate white people's guts, but the alt-right truly believes that jews as a whole group want to exterminate white people because they claim the Talmud (I highly doubt these people ever read one chapter of it because why would they?) states something about jews wanting to eliminate the Edomites that these people claim translates to the European people? I looked it up and the edomites were an ancient tribe who lived in Edom that bordered ancient Israel to modern day Jordan. Where is the evidence that they were european? Whenever you engage with the alt right they go into it like you said with doomsday prophecy about how the jews believe their "satanic" messiah will return once white europeans are gone. Again, it all goes back to crazy religious conspiracy about how jews are satanic lizard people whereas white people are god's chosen race and that's why jews want to exterminate white people.

It comes down to the fact that many white supremacists and other far-right groups see the Jews as the final boss of the world because to be fair, a lot of them control many things from the banks to the entertainment industry to politics.

But there's a good reason for that and it has to do less with Jewish culture and ironically it has to do more with whitey. In Medieval times, Jews were not allowed to own private property; so to get by the Jews had to offer a variety of services and they were forced to innovate. The European monarchs in those days prohibited the Jews from owning land but they were permitted to do business; so any Jews that has an entrepreneur and venture capitalist mindset would start bakeries, start banks, start their own barber shops, some became lawyers, some became blacksmiths, some started shipping companies to import tea and spices, and started other businesses that made them rich. It was whitey that made the Jews rich, it was whitey that gave the Jews an incentive to gain financial power.

This would continue well into the present day because the hardships the Jews dealt with in the dark ages made them get stronger; as the saying goes, 'What doesn't kill you makes you stronger'. To me, it seems like the big reason why fat-right groups don't like the Jews is pure jealousy and they don't want to git gud like the Jews did.

It's like how commies blame capitalism for the world's problems and their own problems while they make no effort to better themselves or git gud.

The Jews are OP because they were put into a situation that made them adapt to their circumstances and git gud. You can also say the same things about Asians; the Japanese, Koreans, and Chinese also started out poor and stupid but with them embracing free market capitalism (and a few wars later) made various Asian groups also git gud. Maybe the far-right wouldn't be a bunch of angry beta males complaining if they also learned to git gud. Don't hate the player, hate the game.

So there was a historical reason to kicking them out on mass after all, funny how that works.
