Technically Emily and Florence were going for more late Victorian/Edwardian styles. This guy is obsessed with 1850s crinolines - think Civil War dresses or the Ugly Sisters in Cinderella.
When dresses got big in the 19th century, the style was typically to offset that bulk in some way - in the 1830s and 1870s they went for gigot/leg-o-mutton sleeves, but in the 1850s they tended to favour dropped shoulders with a "bertha neckline", pelerines or bretelles. In other words they added a bulk around the shoulders.

This therefore makes the 1850s an even funnier decade for him to resurrect, because if you try and do that on a man's frame you'd end up with a linebacker emerging from a crinoline:

This is something I've been thinking about because most stories of exfrum trans people I hear from all noticed something was wrong or different in childhood, even if they didnt have the right words to describe it. I do not know who this singer/band is, but I do know that troons are obsessive about trans made garbage like I Saw the TV Glow to the point of considering any non total ass kissing opinion about that as an attack against them as people or troons as a whole. You can, but the admins are firmly on the side of troons and will happily selectively enforce rules in order to ensure the freaks can infest whatever subreddit they wish. This means you can make as many lesbian subs as you want, but if you dare to forbid troons from participating in them then you're liable to either get the subreddit banned for whatever trumped up reason they want or just handed over to tranny mods while your account gets banned.

It's funny, there was actually kind of a canary in the coal mine incident waaaay back in the day with troons taking over LGBT spaces, specifically on the /r/lgbt subreddit. I wanna say it involved Lorelei, who I think has a thread here?
