They werent a popularity contest in season 2 either until they allowed everyone to take 1 point away from each other after every challenge which meant every challenge which rewarded 2 points that tayleigh would win she would end up with 0 points gained. I am not arguing with the result, I am arguing the mechanics. If you had run 100 seasons with the same system 33% of the time someone will be screwed out of winning because they were too unpopular with the other fish.
