I know this whole situation has been over for a long while but has anyone got an archive of James alt that he used after the suicide bait. I weirdly haven't seen anything about the account anywhere other then it being used to prove that he's alive. Maybe there could be some entertaining stuff in it or maybe James might have said something about Hbomberguy. Either way it's weird how the Kiwifarmeres from a couple of months ago never bothered to archive anything in a situation where it was clear that the account discussed had a high chance of being deleted.

Harris' fans are fucking insane. I know we mock Dog Whistles, but they are 100% real and Hbomberguy is a perfect example of it. A normal person looks at the Internet Historian section and sees that he stole an article and his fanbase was a bit edgy once they saw that the claim took place in Israel. You go to r/youtubedrama (Which has its own thread here) and the common consensus is that Internet Historian is an alt right Nazi and anyone who dares question daddy Hbomberguy is either also a Nazi or a useful idiot.
It's funny to look at a group of people wank some breadtuber to such a high degree, but keep in mind that most of these people in those subreddits are teenagers to young adults and have high rates of mental illness. It looks unhinged to put so much trust in a YouTuber, but when you are so young, you don't know any better and when Hbomberguy says that Nazis are everywhere, you believe him and hand him $5 of your hard earned money a month to support the cause. I don't even care that this guy is political, he is a piece of shit for fearmongering his audience in order to grift his way to 32,000 patrons with a minimum of a $2 dollar payment (at least $700,000 a year on patreon alone). It is tragic that Metokur was wiped which allowed Harris to avoid getting any dirt on him.

This video, while a little vapid, really does show how getting within the Breadtuber circle will leave your crippled once you are outed. Out of all of the subjects discussed, Illuminaughty and James Somerton turned out worst from the fall out, while the other three subjects simply went on their way once they got past the brunt of the backlash.

The funniest part is that HBG didn’t really think that the situation wouldn’t escalate the way it did. He begged his fans in his video to not harass James Somerton numerous times (whilst flat out saying that creators should be held responsible for their fans in his IH portion), yet they did it anyways. He even said in some articles (that I might find later) that he regretted ever writing the James Somerton portion and even replace the Somerton thumbnail with Internet Historian. You can’t even ask about Somerton on r/YoutubeDrama without risking getting banned.
