actual indie movies like "what we do in the shadows" and "super" both mainly used local friends as the cast and just shot stuff in people's houses or asked permission and used people's backyards. Why the fuck would they need a hotel room when everyone could just sleep in the house. same for "catering" David Cohen literally cooked for his entire movie crew, Jet's too much of a fag to even do that?

in a way 2.5 wasn't that different from say how Curb or TPB was made. just give people some light notes and let them come up with dialogue on their own. How in the fuck would Jet be able to manage a 24/7 livestreamed show that runs for 2 weeks, with 30-50 cast/crew and be sitting around trying to cook food for those 30-50 people???

Anyway, if they keep doing the same shit every season it will actually get boring and repetitive and the appeal will be limited to MDE/whatever audience that they have right now. They really need to keep trying difference recipes and different ingredients to keep fishtank economically viable (especially if they want to do like 10+ seasons)

We all know that the more mainstream, or sponsorships the show gets the more censored and watered down it will be. We saw a very small example of this when Jet had to get Jobe to stop saying nigger because the Stickermule people were there. That specific example is funny and all but this could absolutely grow into a real problem if they intend for normies to start watching or networks to get involved.

As for doing the same thing over and over, as long as they have a new "gimmick" every season and new colorful characters I don't think the show would get old, especially since the wiggers are learning what works every time they do a new season. If they take the Fishtank concept that they have already seriously and continue to improve then the show would be fine for the 10 seasons Sam said he wanted the show to have.

This is obviously a commercial endeavor. While it may be a passion project for Jet and Sam Hyde, they have put real money into shit. I'm sure they have pulled in favors from people but you can't be raking in TTS money and not paying people.

That shit works if you're doing like a 2 or 3 day film shoot with a few of your friends, not when you're doing a 2 week long 24/7 livestreamed project with 50 people.

I mean do you even have the most basic kind of understanding or respect for the logistics necessary when it comes to making sure people are adequately hydrated and there are enough bathrooms and everything else required? 30-50 people means at least 30 cars, where do you park them? People need to be able to charge shit. You need first aid kits. You need production assistants. You need walkie talkies. You need a lot of shit.

Do you know how much water an adult requires per day when working outdoors? Or how many toilets you need? Do you really think they'll tell people "hey just go shit in the woods lol, here's a leaf to wipe your ass with"?

You have no idea what you're talking about. I don't know why you would expect them or anyone to do all this shit for free and put on this giant show at a discount and burn out favors from friends just for your or anyone else's benefit? Like I said this is a commercial endeavor.

100%. Fishtank becoming mainstream would quite literally ruin the reason people watch the show. People watch Fishtank because it's insanely unhinged and almost completely uncensored. One day you see a gay black man molesting a 6'5" neckbeard the next you see a Mexican wigger and a white guy arguing over the ethics of saying nigger. You would never get this on a mainstream Fishtank. Once you get into mainstream television or streaming you have to appease the higher ups who don't want people fighting eachother, don't want slurs used, don't want "hate speech". This kills the show. Fishtank being this obscure cult thing with a niche following is very good.

This show has potential, but the wiggers insistence on half-assing everything and not thinking out plans is infuriating. Every day is filled with baffling choices that do not benefit the show at all.
And their dreams of selling the show to someone are just that; dreams. It's never happening. Maybe if they spent more time streamlining and debloating the show it could run at a profit with little effort.
