I honestly think DeSantis might've been able to beat her even
Nope.

Ron DeSantis would have lost this election. This was not a Republican victory, the downballot proves that. Trump ran massively ahead of everyone else
Probably the more sane one too. He didn't bungle the Russian Reset and saw the Dems were going to lose this election.
If Bill Clinton wasn't totally compromised and forced, pretty much at gunpoint, to campaign for Dems this election, he'd probably come out and say that the Democratic Party today is nothing like the one he led in the 1990s

Could be true there. I bought into the 'Trump is poisoned fruit' after J6 and I know a few others that stuck with that, but that sure turned out to be wrong. Surviving the attempt and having a great campaign helped. I, and others besides those goofballs that thought J6 was a big deal, voted for Trump really hard. The broken glass situation was bigtime a factor here.

I think DeSantis might've won. That's the problem with thinking about historical alternatives, all the variables change. I think it would've been a near electoral tie.

They dont actually care about the economy, they just care about the concept of numbers being used against opponents. Tariffs are more often than not retarded and not beneficial to the average consumer and are gay so I hope Trump stops bending over for the cronies hes appealing too and gives that shit up.

But Kamala's ideas were literally worse, so... dems dont care about the economy. Just that they can blame numbers on you, and claim other numbers as their own.
When did you become a economis?

Nobody outside their little crybaby silo seriously cares about January 6th. Saw that in the opinion polling at the time, Trump lost nobody over that
I think DeSantis might've won.
Well you think wrong

We know the variables. DeSantis would not pull in nearly enough crossover votes to put him over and he wouldn't have been able to capture them. DeSantis showed the world he is not Presidential material, that he is basically 'Generic Republican' wearing the MAGA costume.

Republicans did not win this election. Republicans are fucking stupid. Republicans thought that Trump wasn't electorally viable because he was weak with white suburban women. The future of the electorate is not white suburban women.

Donald Trump is the one who won this election. Point blank, period.

They also don't know that not only did Biden keep Trump's tariffs on Chinese products but increased some of them
Had they found out, they'd probably justify it.

Hopefully Trump stops to. I forgot what Kamala's policies were cause now she's a distant memory to me.

I'd only suggest that maybe it's worth looking at whether what he says applies equally to both sides of the aisle or if there might be a division. It's worth considering at least.
Democrats generally depend on the female vote more than Republicans (who typically get more of the male vote), so that could explain female Republicans being less effected by the anti-female bias than Democrat candidates.

As to my main argument, Hillary and Kamala both got lower percentages of the female vote than Biden did, all against the same opponent. Despite Biden being a literal rapist and molester of his own daughter, per her own statement.

Hillary was about 1% lower than Biden, and Kamala so far looks to be around 2% weaker with women. Not a huge change, but still potentially enough to have cost both women some close states.

They also don't know that not only did Biden keep Trump's tariffs on Chinese products but increased some of them
Thing is that he put big tariffs on Chinese made EVs, knowing full well that the Chinese are opening factories in Mexico and making the EVs there, and he didn't put any tariffs on the Mexican made Chinese EVs.

He did this just to score cheap and easy political points. So he could say that he's tough on trade and tough on China, just like Trump. While actually not taking anything out of his Chinese masters' pockets

True indeed. I was just throwing spitballs that Desantis could've beaten Harris, who was incredibly weak. But yes the old GOP's dead and MAGA is how things are now.

Fine by me. I think DeSantis is a good guy, great policies, but weak charisma and is dry as it gets. Trump and Vance are vibrant and funny.

It's funny how the left kept saying this was a 'vibes' election. It kind of was in the end. The good MAGA vibes beat the dour DNC hell.

Harris, who was incredibly weak.
Harris was a fucking terrible candidate. But, make no mistake, the Blue No Matter Who crowd are all fully indoctrinated and Kamala Harris ran as close to 'Generic Democrat' as possible. 'Generic Democrat' has every advantage over 'Generic Republican' when it comes to the general election, it was only Trump's unique characteristics as a candidate that allowed him to overcome these disadvantages.

Yep, like a buttaface girl with big tits, he has that special something that won everyone over. I still think people were incensed about over Biden to not let that bitch win even against a generic GOP like DeSantis though.

Worst case scenario, Trump died, and Vance was nom'd. Would he have won?

No, because a Generic Republican like DeSantis wouldn't have offered the voters anything.

We saw his strategy. DeSantis and his ilk have basically seized on the woke shit as an acceptable vector of attack. Basically their thinking is that if you're not being constantly demoralised at school or in the workplace about how racist and problematic you are, you'll feel better about making less money, having your job shipped overseas, and having your children shipped overseas to die in the establishment's pointless wars

Trump isn't politically correct but he's more than that. Trump offers those white and non-white working class voters something. The lack of political correctness is incidental at best

Probably not, it depends. If Trump were killed, I think the outrage might incense the voters.

If trump were killed I'd imagine Vance winning in a landslide simply because of how angry everyone aside from the terminal libs would be.

It could've spark civil war, probably not, but that time frame was so hectic. A lot of the right had about had it already. A Trump pick after would've won, maybe cause they're still against the weak as fuck Harris but without the TDS so much and a more rallied right.
