Today I have... Thread.

today i put the finishing touches on a little xmas gift for myself: a transferable HK21E medium machinegun. it has an effective range of 1.2 kilometers, firing 7.62x51mm armor-piercing / tracer cartridges from linked belts at 800 rounds per minute.

it costs $430 to fire it for 60 seconds.

Treated my whole family to Christmas Dinner. Note to self: never order 20 steaks from diners, their not worth it.

Bought some new wellies for my niece. She got a new pair for Christmas but there's a pair I saw that I thought were cute (and besides, she was ill today so I figured she needed cheering up).

Finally had some weather suitable for spraypainting so I've been painting some minis. Also Battlefield 1.

Just got these delivered to me today:

I love NECA.

Those are cool, although the one in the middle looks like he's crowning a massive shit.

welp, now I can't unsee that.

But for the sake of clarification, the middle one is called a "Gorilla Alien" which is why he is hunched over kinda like a silverback.

I just marked a ton of essays from my teaching job, and read almost the entire Shmorky thread...My brain needs a transplant.

...Found a nail in my tire and had to do my first tire change in a decade. Good news is a Mexican tire shop down the road fixed it quickly and correctly for a decent price. They also had a tortoise shell Manx in the waiting area of the garage and it was a good cat.

A++ Gato, amigos.

I go to two different comic book shops that has cats that hang around the store. Usually you'll find them sleeping on top of the stacked single issue comic books, but occasionally, when I look about, one of them will follow me around while I browse, wanting to be petted.

all stores should have a cat hanging about.

(well, with the exception of stores that sell food)

Tireshop cat ended up on my lap when the occasional chin scratch wasn't sufficient. It was doubly nice because I had been away from my own cats for awhile.

Yes! If only I could rate something feels about a thousand times.

I'm treating my cousin to a movie sometime during the next week, I feel it is the right thing to do since her family is going through rough times, money-wise.

I also found out that one of the managers at my restaurant quit... Unfortunately, it's not the prick that plays favorites. :(

Had someone's 5 year old kid staring down my shirt today. At first I thought maybe he saw a toy but then as I started to compose myself and look around at other stuff in the store he followed me around. I asked him if he was lost and he insisted I help him find his mother. Long story short we found his mother looking at clothes not realizing he was gone. It felt nice to reunite them, that was until we met at the check out line and cradled in his mothers arms there he was staring at my chest again.
