One Piece - I'm Gonna Be the Pirate King!

Something I found out. Kazuki Yao, Franky's seiyuu, met with Masako Nozawa, Goku's seiyuu.

I'd just like to put out 2 things here:

1: He's 68. Meanwhile, Nozawa is 88.

2: He's just an year older than Hirohiko Araki, creator of JoJo. Granted it's a bit unfair to compare a cyborg to a vampire.

My man is literally manifesting his inner Brook.
Wasn’t it said Kazuki was dealing with some health issues?

That's significantly lower than page rates for American publishers (excluding companies like Archie), but its definitely a better deal because of the royalties.

Legit, Oda got super lucky One Piece became big enough to be a profitable IP rivaling the big leagues. The man is living the life he wanted and more; his health is getting shot from the sounds of it which is why he has to take scheduled breaks, but it probably doesn't bother him as much since his family for sure is taken care of and there's plans for OP should anything happen to him. Starving artist, he is not.

Horikoshi and Isayama both shot for the moon only to fall back down to earth because a certain someone strikes down all who enter his domain. Coincidence?

The One Piece YouTube channel has released Fan Letter, a special episode made to celebrate the anime's 25th anniversiary. It can only be watched if you're in the US or Canada, and it'll be gone December 1st. Go watch it while you still can.

Saiyan saga Goku could beat up Gay 4 Luffy and his crew of homosexual pirates.

Also just download this special episode it’s not gonna be gone on December 1st.

Think Oda'll get to sneak in some Cape Town references before One Piece is finished? The man's been privileged to be able to travel to places he never thought to go to, and artists rarely pass up the opportunity to get some inspirations from such trips.

Wouldn’t surprise me. Then again, not sure how it’s gonna potentially factor in at this point.
