The British Summer of Discontent - The growing civil unrest of the native British population, sparked by the murder of 3 young girls in Southport

One thing she did do though, that I referenced above that she gets no credit for is, you know, literally save the planet. A lot of the posters might be too young to remember but there was a huge thing in the 80s with the ozone layer being depleted and skin cancer rates skyrocketing. Thatcher, a Chemist, pretty much single handedly (until she got Ronnie on board) organised an international response to getting rid of the chemicals causing it.
The hole's still there. No one likes to talk about it, presumably because it's embarrassing.

I mean, there is one, but it has been steadily getting smaller every year and opening for a shorter time since Thatcher got her way?

It's not embarrassing at all. Humans caused carnage on a global scale and its a wonder that it is getting fixed.

That's not embarrassing, what is embarrassing is that the only reason Aussies and Kiwis aren't suffering catastrophe is that by sheer dumb luck one cantankerous bitch in Europe looked at some data, said "Oh fuck" and was able to make some (at the time) deeply unpopular decisions.

So of course Thatcher gets no credit and no respect, sort of like Richard Nixon is never acknowledged by leftists as the guy who actually presided over establishing the EPA and managed détente with China, and while you may hate commie chinks as much as I do, that sure beats nuclear war.

Seconding or thirding or whatever Thatcher. Ever since her it's been a bit of a joke. I mean Major tried, but he was really just inept. After him it was that fuck-face shit-for-brains scumbag Blair, and since then it's been one retard after another getting worse with every single fucking one until you now have Kier Sturmabteilung and people are being rounded up for talking. I can hear my ancestors spinning in their graves from the other side of the planet at what's been going on.

I don't think you can credit Thatcher for the CFC ban, it doesn't look like the history of it supports that at all. Can you point me towards something that supports your argument?

It hasn't. It's as big as it's ever been and there's growing evidence that it's an entirely natural phenomenon (not least the fact that ozone "holes" were detected before the widespread use of CFCs). Ozone is produced by ultra-violentviolet light ionising molecular oxygen in the upper atmosphere, which is how the protective effect occurs; the oxygen absorbs UV light, becomes ionised (allowing it to bond with a free oxygen radical) and re-emits the light at a less energetic (and thus less damaging) frequency. The ozone hole at each pole is at its largest by the end of the polar winter, when the pole has received the least sunlight, meaning less ozone is generated by this interaction. It is larger in the south than the north due to air currents in the south preventing mixing between the pole and the sub-polar latitudes.

Thatcher was not instrumental in the CFC ban, which was already well in train when the tories were elected. Her thing was global warming, which she saw as a means to break the unions by destroying the demand for British coal. She later recanted her views on the matter, after realising just how badly she fucked the British economy by encouraging the catastrophic climate change dogma. Too late by then.

Holy crap - there's a petition to call a General Election and of course the govt. wont do that but the higher it gets the more embarrassing this becomes. The total refreshes approximately every ten seconds and it's going up by around 150 signatures every refresh. It was on around 448,000 a few hours ago. It's closing in on 700,000 currently.

I believe the old people say "top kek".

can't hurt to give it a sign i suppose

Has anyone checked out the rate it leaps by when you refresh? It's now, as of 1332GMT on nigh on 740,000.

It's leaping up with every page refresh. I've never seen anything like it.

Starmer and his MPs should be concerned for their safety.
I'm Team "Nothing Ever Happens" with regards to any larp on people doing anything without a deeply unpopular inciting event, but this is looking like another egg on Starmer's face and I'm all for it.

Currently looking like it might hit the million by 4pm
Not gonna lie, I'm sitting here half watching to see when it does.

It's interesting. I know I hate labour like I do all of them. I hadn't realised how many other people dislike them though.

If this is all just ignored by the media and government then I've a feeling (truth be told, I actually kind of hope) things will get violent, especially towards elected officials. They can't arrest everyone and the more people they do the more they'll be hated, and the worse it'll be for labour.

The END of England

A leftist British Youtuber braves the gangtser hood that is modern England. He visits Dover he meets up with Callum Smiles of Rebel News for an actually honest and fair interview. He even shits on the hell hole of twats that is London.

And after all he sees, and hears, he still concludes it's moral to have open borders and let all the parasites in. Absolute waste of oxygen.

People are starting to bring up the brexit reversal petition that hit 6 million signatures, usually so they can complain about how that one was ignored and so this one should be as well, apparently not realising that one was gamed to hell and back by activists. The fact they're trying to play this down is a sign that it's rattling the right people.

Or can it ? It isn't anonymous, is it ? I wonder what list you'll be on if you sign it. They're locking people up for wrong speak.......how much longer before you're locked up for being associated with wrong think ?
