This is true. I also think making each fish have to cook a meal for the whole house is a good elimination thing - historically all the fish have been pretty terrible at cooking and have done stuff like trying to rehead pizza by keeping it in the delivery box and putting it in the oven.

There is a few ways I can see this going that could be good, former fish coming back as take contestants could be fun, but I don't see them keeping up the gas light for very long with that.

Mini Famous House (for the 5k in the commercial) where you flip the Fish (still competing for the $50k) into the torturers could also be really interesting. First Fish to reveal the truth gets eliminated, then they get points/money for eliminating the Famous Contestants. Have a full cycle of the Fish in show.

I'm wondering if he accidentally said the wrong prize, ok no next contestant, he is saying 50 grand.
