I CANNOT believe someone else actually knows about that book, but holy heck I am pleased as punch to find another who read it! Yes, it's actually a really great little read and it's pretty uplifting. But I am a sucker for cats so it's why I got it.

I will say if you want some bittersweet or heart-tugging stories in the same vein, "The Goodbye Cat" is a great read. Though it has one or two genuinely funny stories in it to make up for the former.

There's a theory about people who were raised as bastard children have this tendency to oversexualize things as a traumatic response of daddy leaving for cigars and never coming back.

I think that the issue nowadays is that people are more isolated or have lack of sociability by general social media and a culture based around transactions, most people don't think them like that but they are expected to do it so that they aren't seen on bad lights, the origins of those things already were on part by the way culture is based around pilaging others through a lack of communities and a lack of real vertical mobility which mixed with agriculture general encouragement to steal if the issue isn't seen generates people who benefit from others while normalizing it as such, the internet shouldn't be used as a litmus test but nowadays it's a fact that people are more isolated by general polls, studies of sociology and more which show that people have less friends, abandon more people and have generally less emotional intelligence on both sexes. a part of this is to think that the opposite sex does things which someone considers wrong by lack of prospective and general avoidance of issues (eg. women are harpies even if this is totally false and the reality is that a lot of them simply think that they need to be chameleons by not having confidence on their self or men are porn infused insanely violent monsters when the ratio of the demographic is more related to men being generally more alone (even if they are much less coerced by hurtful monsters unlike women) while not having good job prospects by nepotism and lack of job opportunity by various factors (an issue which happens to women as well but women are normally non encouraged to find jobs and are more socially accepted to work on house work, most men do their house work but this doesn't pay or it's accepted socially so it isn't really seen or asked by women for men to do) (on the man porn part i will explain how it happens on men: most men are reflected to deny their caring and supportive part of their humanity by society by both males and women so they deny their real needs of human sociability by a culture which says that men who do this are weak so that they are better slave work for monsters at the top, this in turn mixed with most men being more alone by most men and women not having any sociability nowadays on the romantic and friendship sense causes men to fall onto copes by feeling that they can't show real needs of love by being seen as needy or lesser men by propaganda while most people don't give love to anyone, men or woman, there's more to this but i won't make another essay here, on women it's happening too so it's becoming a general human problem as well, obviously this is used for evil to encourage hurtful acts in the sexual department).

This mixed with a generally commercial culture to sell and make people into products and focused costumers through demographics has caused a separation between the sexes where men and women can't relate (women and men on the past had very similar interests by naturally humans sharing experiences, something which by modern culture isn't done by a lack of community) and where are encouraged to be narcissist and individualistic by thinking that relationships are an stepping ladder through the idea of wanting to be seen as right by false ideas made by propaganda on media and merchants ("i have to be a "man" because if not everyone will see me as weak even if that's retarded and hurtful for everyone, so i will be brash, excessive and i will not help anyone even if that's needed for a healthy society at all, so for this i will fare for myself even if it destroys me and others through avoidance and finally self destruction" or "i have to deride my meaning from a man because if not everyone will tell me that i am trying to do things i'm unable even if that's horribly false so i will follow what society thinks a man is even if they are things which are objectively bad and hurt men who show behaviors of mutuality and/or support as uncapable even if they are just general behaviors which everyone needs to have"

The sad thing about all of this is that society is encouraging to become the people who are dissident from this to become the worst parts of this abusive culture by encouraging everyone to follow these bad ideals instead of growing and seeing these toxic views of false individuality and communalism as incorrect by the ideas they profess.

Society isn't really conscious about this evil because it's so put into culture that they think these bad behaviors are normal, mysogynists and misandrists even if what they say is dumb at least are honest about their evil and thus show us how society really generates bad behavior through being honest, they aren't the majority but they reflect how culture bends people into monsters and why it happens, i still don't recommend that they are seen as averages but they are a good cultural starting point to see an issue by being born onto that culture and thus being inherently part of their influences, so they are a real axis point to see an issue.

most people are bad but they aren't honest, on the internet they are monsters but they are honest about what people entail.

This can be less grave on younger demographics so i accept any type of feedback for millenials, gen x and boomers, i think that it's less grave but i would like your opinion.

Do women on here actually like "alpha males"? From everything I've ever experienced both online and irl alphas have to lie to women about who they really are because they know women hate selfish, emotionally volatile retards. A hot "beta male" (selfless, loving, responsible, emotionally mature, tgoughtful, etc.) seems to be what women actually want.

no. the real answer to this question is that women like the "beta" more but the "alpha" is just more present by him always lying about stuff and following the socially accepted dynamic of the woman not being direct to what they love (they put themselves first even if they are the worst choice), the solution of this is that women where more direct when they are attracted to someone (aka go for the men they like by asking them directly) and that "betas" had less fear of women by making social contact through making bonds through interests and that they showed their personality more (that men were more caring aka what men and women did originally on the past, both parts should really do this).

obviously this is dependent on personality but if we accepted communal men and individualistic women as valid the issues would get solved by having love languages for all personality types while deriding monsters who manipulate others through deception and manipulation.
