tbf, Game Science telling sbi to fuck off etc is fake news. There isn't any proof except some comments from a random weibo article. And it spiralled from there.
I get that everyone hates sbi, but stop giving them so much credit.

Even if it was, it still lead the usual suspect game journoscum to over react and cause a backlash. By putting out a hit job. They had a major part to play in the big fuck you over the game. It all still ends up where it is now, ResetEra seething fucking mad that they could not control the narrative. You don't get to absolve them of their center role in making that game more memorable than it should have been,
It is a souls like in a sea of souls likes. A well pulled off souls like, that has a lot of charm and effort put in to it. But now it is contending for GOTY. It was going to sell well regardless, but what makes it sweeter is that the Resettroons ended up on the wrong side of history again.

That’s an average of a little over two days per month of unscheduled absences plus lost time from appearing late and leaving early. I don’t know an employer that would take kindly to that record, especially if the business relies on your presence as scheduled to function.

If the person's job is not impaired by them missing or leaving early, and all their work is getting done, why would management really care? The work is getting done. If its a salary job, then it shouldn't matter to anyone, get the work done and management should be happy, paid the same. If its hourly, then the worker is just getting paid less and management shouldn't really care as long as the work is done.

If their work isn't getting done, then management will find out and fire them.

If that user is so mad because they're covering up their absences and doing all their work, maybe they shouldn't and let management know its an issue.

Edit: The OP in that thread actually said the employee is getting all their work done, but it always "contains the same mistakes, so we have to fix it". Sounds like they're too incompetent to train the employee to do the things correctly, or refuse to tell management that the employee can't learn.

It's actually 'Dismissive Commentary'. To wit, he asked if the problem with the game was actually with the game, thereby invalidating all the people who sperg about the developer's social media postings. Once people sperg about something from a socially progressive standpoint, that's the accepted view on Resetera and anything that doesn't seem like it fully embraces that view is banworthy.
