I don't think Viv gave too much thought to character motivation, and if pressed, would basically say something that amounts to "they're the bad guys." Which for the overlords in Hell, eh, it's fine. I mean, it is hell, while Viv tends to frequently forget it, hell is supposed to have bad people in it. But I think a lot of the deeper posts regarding Adam's motivation are based on the biblical Adam, while the Hazbin Adam is essentially Adam in name only.

You know, I've been thinking...if Hell and it's people did somehow manage to get up to Heaven to cause an uprising...how would they accomplish such a feat? Angels seems to be more powerful than demons. And I feel Winners would also be immortal like Sinners, except for angelic weapons...which was made by Heaven... to kill Sinners...which were left in Hell...

Vivzie clearly put no thought in heaven world building at all beyond a few cliche tropes. Adam literally didn't know Angel weapons could kill angels, and if Adam didn't know then the weapon creators probably don't either which is absurd. Is the fact that it kills angels intentional or an accident? If it's created by god then why god create angel killing weapons? Does this mean angels/winners and sinners are "equals"?

The biggest irony is that, and i'm sure is completely unintentional, if the extermination never happened, hell would have no means to deal with heaven at all. The only reason they can fight back is sheer angel incompentence for leaving their weapons around for free.

Adam unintentionally gave hell the means to uprise against heaven and this realization is lost on both vivzie and the inuniverse cast.

I want to find out what peeps on Vivziepop subreddits, which are like 97% of all Helluva Boss fans, actually think of Stolas - a typical Reddit user is a weak-willed, feelings-driven introvert with underdeveloped emotional intelligence who is usually attracted to the type of characters like Stolas. Those guys will describe Stolas as charming and charismatic, they will be flattered by his overly-dramatic, fairy-tail-like attitude and an image of the nice guy. They will obliviously empathize with him trying to justify his innocence and disregard for himself. They’ll villainize Blitz for hurting his feelings, even though he was genuinely correct about Stolas acting up like an unhealthy girl that wants to ruin a relationship because she feels like not having enough control.

I’ll be really surprised to see at least one constructive comment criticizing Stolas’s behaviour from a guy that speaks like a regular Reddit NPC and not from a guy that hasn’t yet discovered Kiwi Farms. Otherwise, I’ll assume that their mods are aggressive Stolas gooners and censor all anti-birdfaggot comments.

Honestly, the only theory a friend of mine and I came up with, and yes we both know its dumb, is how after Lucifers little uprising. These Heaven weapons were forged to make sure Angels can be killed, because Michael and God were worried how another uprising might happen. But, last thinh they wanted was tell this to Adam and others.

Brandon Rogers has such a terrible sense of style and tailoring for someone with his proessional persona. I understand the mall-goth-internet-forum-horrorcore-musical-thea[t]re-nerd identity, but in practice he's got nearly zero Dramatic or Teeny-Tiny-Person qualities (faggy David Kibbe rules) so almost anything from his chosen subculture gives off that uncomfortable contrast that large manly men wearing delicately scaled children's ballet outfits does. You end up feeling a little sick seeing so many brights, neons, patterns, sharp lines and weird sleeves pasted on to such a 107-with-sleeves-rolled-up body. And his makeup choices are just as bad.

5 years since the pilot, fuck me.

If I had a nickel for everytime Viv reaplced a character's voice actor with some Broadway individual, I'd have a handful of quarters.

It's also interesting to remember how in the pilot, we really had only 4 VAs, but each were talented enough to be able to make every character sound different. Almost like they were able to do their...job. But because Viv decided to throw Brock Baker under the bus for sexual allegations that were dropped so quickly no one in the general public even remembers, we got Broadway Stolas. Which I'm definitely sure help paved the way for this show to become a romance drama instead of a comedy, because now we can have Stolas sing his feelings.

Oh, and Millie was replaced by someone who has never voice acted before because Viv wanted each of the main cast to have a unique voice...even though most people probably wouldn't even be able to tell that Loona and Millie were voiced by the same person unless you looked at the credits. But we all know the real reason why. She just couldn't afford her to voice both characters. Hence why she voiced the one with less lines. Hence why she is mostly mute in season 2. You even said so yourself Viv on a twitter thread. Maybe if you didn't hire all these famous people to voice your characters and try to get fucking Kesha to sing on your internet show, you could have afford Erica to voice Loona. Maybe even be able to afford her to voice Millie too.
