Comparable to Japan with physical assault used for compliance. He is "American" and is fairly high profile so there is like a 99% he has a close eye on him during incarceration because him getting beaten to death in prison wouldn't look good on SK. He most likely won't serve a full sentence, the SK government will want to make an example out of him to deter copycats, but as stated previously.. he's "American". So, maybe 2 years maximum and then deported back to the states with a lifetime ban to save taxpayers money from being spent on him in prison.
