The Slaton Sisters / Amy Slaton & Tammy Slaton - The 1000 Pound Sisters

Oh wow. Interesting indeed. Gonna go out on a limb here, but it looks like she actually has a strong jawline and full lips. She looks like she could have one of those really striking, almost beautiful faces had she taken care of herself from the beginning. Idk how much is filter or how much is her facial structure trying to be seen, but who would have thought she seemes to have some good bone structure under there.

Let's not get crazy lol

She's still a Slaton after all.

OH YEAH!

Every so often I watch an episode here and there when I have the time. The last episode I saw was when Amy and Tammy were having a "girls night."

First off, I completely skipped the hamplanet burlesque dancing class, because holy shit I was not going to sit through that.

Secondly, this might be the first time watching this show where I completely sided with Tammy's "negative" behavior. Amy was acting so damn obnoxious in front of the limo driver, with the constant immature and annoying sausage/dick jokes and farting (that poor limo driver!). I would have absolutely snapped just like Tammy did in that situation.

Anyway, the episodes I watch here and there are starting to all blur together. It's just a show about a morbidly obese family that constantly gets into fights that solidify their white trash-ness. The show constantly plays clips/soundbites of the Slaton family saying how "they stick together no matter what," but it's really not inspiring considering they appear to be the most miserable family on the planet. Their TLC paychecks must be at least decent enough for them to stick together like this.

At this point, I'm only interested in seeing how TLC covers Amy's arrest and giraffe bite. lol.

I was cringing for Americans watching this freak show (starring Amy) in London.

Amanda, who looks to have lost no weight at all after two WLS, describing abdominoplasty as the worse pain ever, just goes to show what a wimp she is. If Chris plays it up I’ll be really disappointed. The Fleur De Lis Abdominoplasty he had is painful for a few days at most. It’s just skin and fat being cut away, with maybe a hernia repair if needed. The worst part of the recovery is having uncomfortable drains for 1-3 weeks, as well as having to wear a tight-arse abdominal corset 24/7 for at least three months. It’s discomfort, not pain. Nasal surgery is far more painful IMO. Broken bones hurt more than having some skin removed.

Tammy is such a baby, thinking there was ever a way they’d remove the skin from her whole body in one surgery. Even the smallest google search would have told her there was no way that was going to happen. She’d die on the table if they put her body into that much shock. Also thinking she could get it quickly when she knew her blood results were showing malnutrition, and hiding her vape habit from doctors. It will be interesting to see how she goes trying to give it up. I wonder what her replacement transfer addiction will be. She doesn’t walk like a penguin because of her loose abdominal skin either, she walks like a penguin because of her severely bowed little legs. All the loose skin surgery in the world isn’t going to change that.

ETA: I believe this weeks episode was the season 6 finale. We’ll have to wait for season 7 (if there is one) to see if Tammy does get plastic surgery, and what happens with Amy’s arrest.

But what ended up happening with the housing Tammy storyline.
Chris and Brittany were in the process of purchasing the house next door to theirs as a rental, “the yellow house”. Chris spent a couple of months renovating it while Tammy moved in with them. Brittany was clearly not particularly keen on the idea. She moved into “the yellow house” around the time Chris had his abdominoplasty.

I remember seeing this in the preview for the episode after the last one I watched. Was there any particular drama between them during the renovation process?

To be honest, I only saw maybe the first 3 episodes and the last two. I just couldn’t access the show either on YouTube or the other places suggested by people here. The program doesn’t mean enough to me, to make any effort to access it.

I’ve also been put off by all the fake news surrounding the family, eg Brittany had supposedly died, Amanda allegedly got custody of Amy’s boys after her arrest, Tammy recently married the father of her newborn baby. There’s nothing backing any of these online “news” reports, and in the case of the first two, both Chris and Amanda have outright denied them. While a recent marriage for Tammy is certainly a possibility, I’d have to see Tammy actually giving birth to believe that news, even more so given last I heard she was dating a woman, not a man capable of impregnating her.
