This is lame. How are they not going to feature a lolcow that might actually attend? How old is the SGDQ clip now? He's a well known lolcow (despite it being people mainly knowing him for the SGDQ thing). They were probably trying to keep away from people that might attend I assume.

No one knows who he is. No one knew or cared that he was going to show up. The people alerting others of his attendance at the convention were weens looking to start drama. Doesn’t look like they got any. Seems like he was relegated to his hotel room for most of the convention. Thanks, guys.

I made mention of this earlier in the thread, if Chibi didn’t make a scene of himself, he could go do whatever he wanted without anyone causing a fuss because he’s so insignificant. He’s terminally online and self-important, therefore he cannot resist telling his audience consisting of us what he’s going to be doing at any given point.

That really is the funniest part of all this. He doesn't need  to dress up as a cartoon character and surround himself with children. If he wanted to socialize he could just go out to a bar on the weekend with a work friend like an adult. His desire to be an autistic Peter Pan is making him miserable but he won't stop. Its not going to get any less creepy either. The dude is going to be 45 thinking he's one Final Fantasy wig away from finally being a cool teen.

He's well-known to people who are interested in lolcows, but at an anime convention he's just one in a sea of middle-aged, socially maladjusted perverts. This thread has existed for almost 10 years and is yet to hit 1,000 pages; even among other cows, Cheebz isn't particularly remarkable.

As funny as the whole situation is, this is basically the first 'muh mentals' post where I think he actually did a good job (Ignoring the context of WHY he felt so justifiably unwelcomed). Pretty big gap between a weekend at a social event where you're not particularly welcome vs soygasming over making some japanese food or having a sook because adulting was a bit hard that day (damn you chores). You did good cheebs! Especially the not stalking and harassing part, I know that was hard for you.

Now he just needs to carry that confidence to his next endeavour, whatever crazy and/or pathetic thing that may be...

It's definitely progress, but the fact remains this is a 34-year-old man patting himself on the back for making it a whole 2 days without being a sex pest. We should also give it some time for ratatooie rats to come out the woodwork and start sharing stories of how Chibi was inappropriate to them at the con.
