With a heavy heart I have to say I do not think this would have ended any better if Sam talked to everyone about this. I very strongly believe if they were going to let anyone in on this, this was the best way to do it. Personally, even if the whole house didn't turn on him, having Sam rightly pissed off in my stead in that house and seeing Luke go off the way he did, even Kevin's private admonishment, made it a more entertaining and gratifying watch.

I will never be able to do anything about Brandon directly. It's likely none of us will. He might be harassed again but he was before and he kept on chugging. This was one of those audience wish fulfilment moments that didn't pan out: just like Frank's hassling, just like people wanting Fatty on the tank, just like some people want good vibes and others was sheer chaos. We are watching a reality television show where we spend an inordinate amount of time with a bunch of individuals we are somewhat trained to despise or not care for right from the start. The entire crux of the show is seeing hell rain down from above by God's holy judgement and we, the audience, are made to feel like God with Sam and Jet as our unruly workers making it all happen.

I think we all wanted this to go one way, and it didn't, but I am so glad they TRIED rather than letting sleeping dogs lie. Especially when the cat was out of the bag IMMEDIATELY.

Brandon lied his way through facts presented by Luke. He lied his way through physical proof provided by Sam to 3 different fish. Payton, Brandon, and Breezy do not see ANY problem with this and they seem somewhat entrenched in the scene. You now have two loud, conversationally aggressive speakers on one side and an emotional/vengeful crew on the other. In no setting were the wiggers going to win this debate without sitting everyone down for several hours and lecturing them on the Dark Side of Drag. No one likes being lectured, whether they're right or wrong.

They may have been able to sway some hearts () but the fact that anyone who might have agreed with Luke were absolutely hush about it paired with the fact that every woman in the tank was coddling Brandon at some point that evening means this was a doomed mission from the start.

Their only chance was the OGs. It was the only way to win out even a little. It's what happens in online arguments, when they 'debate' and call for their rights, and honestly, they are starting from a place of determined acceptance in favor of Brandon. Sam is NO ONE to the outsiders. They could have lost way more fish (remember La'ron's tactic of trying to convince Alexis to bounce with him?
