Furries who eat meat are less ethical than non-furries who eat meat

Perhaps I take it more seriously than others do, I didn't consider many might just be cosplaying as some animal and actually don't care about animal welfare. It seems weird to me they could identify with a species and not have an increased level of empathy for animals as a whole.
You can goon to furry artwork and still care about animal rights and not eating them.
It just seems to be that a lot of furries (not all, obviously, let's get that out of the way) just like to cosplay as them, and they may or may not have sexual desires that involve that activity. Their incentive for this didn't start due to empathy for animals, I assume it could be a mix between being part of a group that accepts them, indulging in their sexual desires (read: fetishes), fueling their obsession passion about fursuits/fursonas, etc.

What about the furries that are into vore, or into inflation (which apparently are many)? The idea to subject an animal to that seems like a fantasy to enjoy sadist desires & thoughts, and they may not do anything remotely similar in real life, but it's just a fetish, meaning, empathy is nowhere in the equation for their motives, and never was.

Yeah, someone that gets off to an anthropomorphic skunk being bloated forcefully against its own will until death while being raped may still care about animals (sure, let's go with that), but what's the probable conclusion here (and most frequent in a large sample size)? That they don't really care about animals any more than other people, they're just doing this because they find personal pleasure from it.

You're also vegan, right? I assure you telling people on Kiwifarms to go vegan like I've seen you do in one occasion will have exactly 0 effect, and you're not giving them any incentive to do either.

Furries like the ones I mentioned are in it for the sexual pleasure and acceptance in a group, the furries you're talking about are no more hypocritical than the people who say they love cows/chickens and get angry/sad when they see them suffer, then go to KFC or whatever and order their flesh, perpetuating the very process/torture that made them suffer in the way they seemingly dissaproved of. It's the same shit.

This is what Homestuck/Undertale does to a mf.
seriously, i thought homestuck died 12 years ago and undertale like 6 years ago.
Only if your kill it with your own claws and teeth and eat it raw. Anything else is cheating.
so you're not just a furry, you're an otherkin? trying to gauge what im dealing with here

You'll never get the honorary title of corpse eater

True! As a furry myself for 45 years, I know that animals are for fucking, not eating! Like, what is wrong with people, HELLOOOO?

You main point (if I understood correctly) is that furries care very much about animals and as such should be held to a higher standard than "normies" when it comes to the issue of veganism.

Wouldn't this be more applicable to therians rather than furries? Since furries identify with anthropromorphic animals and therians identify with actual animals?

I get the point you are trying to make, but it is flawed because identifying with anthropromorphic animals does not prove feeling empathy for animals. Change "furry" to "otherkin" or "therian" and you've got a pretty solid argument.
