That's also not entirely true.
He was the founder of the company that merged with PayPal. He wasn't just a programmer, which is why he made out rich when PayPal went public. He was also autistic and a nightmare to work with so they pushed him out at some point .

He didn't found tesla but he took over early on. All of Teslas actual successes were due to him.
Despite his autism, Musk knows how to talk to investors. Tesla was a net loss for a long time, but it survived because he knew what they, and tech expo guests, wanted to hear.

Ha Ha!

Politico is still licking Harris's taint. Yes guys she can totes make a comeback in 2028! She ran a perfect campaign it was just the electorate that was wrong!

Holy fuck the cope is off the charts here

a few snippets from this future Pulitzer prize winner;

A snap poll of the 2028 field found Harris at 41 percent, a significant lead over the others: Gavin Newsom, Josh Shapiro, Tim Walz, Pete Buttigieg, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Gretchen Whitmer, JB Pritzker, Andy Beshear and several others who all were in single digits.
But Harris’ advantages are not unique. Similar surveys taken in the two months after the 2016 campaign, for example, found Clinton with a large lead for 2020, with majorities of Democrats saying they wanted her to run in the next cycle.

“Could she run for governor? Yes. Do I think she wants to run for governor? Probably not. Could she win? Definitely. Would she like the job? I don’t know. Could she run for president again? Yes,” Brokaw said. “Would she have a whole bunch of skepticism from the outset, because she has run in a full-length Democratic primary where [in 2019] she didn’t even make it long enough to be in the Iowa caucus, and then she was the nominee this year?”

If she opts not to run in 2028, the earliest clues about her political future could come around whether she runs to succeed Newsom in California, a prospect POLITICO first reported in May. Her office pushed back strongly at the time. Yet the mere idea of her running again in California has frozen the field and kept some fundraisers on the sidelines.

Good stuff!

They should run her in every race. I won't get tired of all the winning.

In four more years she will be older and uglier, this is the truth for someone like her who has no substance. Her failing looks will be an impediment. This is the way things are.

You can be young attractive and dumb as a female and accomplish things, you can not be old, unremarkable looking and dumb as a female and accomplish anything.

It was a dying niche exotic ev company. The og tesla was a pile of dogshit, and Musk came in and iirc mostly bought them out and jettisoned them at the retarded deadweight they were. Sure he forced the og founders out, but only because they fumbled so badly. Elon turned that shit around fairly quickly, and did his normal marketing stuff and turned it from a 20 million dollar loser into a trillion dollar company in give or take a decade and a half. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tesla_Roadster_(first_generation) Very interesting read there if anyone really cares much about what actually happened.

Dude can be a total weirdo adn goof, and still be very successful. Just judge the dude accurately, not off some bullshit spin by retards. Don't get me started on his weird fixation on having loads of kids.

The most legitimate criticism of tariffs that I have read is that Trump wants manufacturing to happen in the US that has not happened at significant scale in decades, so there is no way to keep prices low on certain goods because the US supply chain is not prepared. The counter to this is... no shit, and why aren't we self-reliant?
what people are missing about industry in america is that it is a system, and like any other system, it will stay at rest unless acted upon. systems do not want to change. people do not want to change. change requires pain and sacrifice, which nothing does willingly. the only way to enact real change is to force things to change

there is no way to ease back into manufacturing in america because the system will fight back the entire way to maintain the status quo and keep relying on cheap goods and slave labor. saying we need to bolster manufacturing before we introduce tariffs is like an alcoholic saying he just needs one more drink and then he'll totally quit after this time

tariffs aren't there to lower costs or instantly make people's lives better. they're the pain that will force american manufacturing to correct itself

1. Polling for the Democrat nominee in 2028 is useless for any real insights. Only reason to run it would be to try and save face for Kamala, which is a baffling call for anyone in the Democrat camp but kind of still expected.

2. I really would love to hear the logic behind trying to prop her up for governor. By all accounts, no one likes her. She just handed the party their worst loss since Reagan and she blew over a billion dollars to do that. She's a bad enough candidate that if the Republicans manage to find someone decent, she might lose them California.

God, please let them be stupid enough to keep trying to will this horrid bitch to be a thing. I'd love nothing more than to see this current progtarded, elitist version of the party burn to the ground over Kamala Harris.

Well, if this is the game they want to play I suggest that the Trump DOJ indict both her and Jack Smith. Have everyone involved in these political prosecutions tried and executed well in advance of 2028. If they want to play hardball, the only option they leave is to crush them and their power bloc completely and permanently.

Also I thought that presidential immunity was permanent, so long as the act was commited as part of his presidential duties. The point of the ruling is the SC is trying to prevent a cycle of retaliation between different administrations for the actions of others. It also means Trump can't go after Biden for his massive fuck ups like the Afghanistan pullout or the endless Ukraine "aid".
