The most legitimate criticism of tariffs that I have read is that Trump wants manufacturing to happen in the US that has not happened at significant scale in decades, so there is no way to keep prices low on certain goods because the US supply chain is not prepared. 1. Polling for the Democrat nominee in 2028 is useless for any real insights. Only reason to run it would be to try and save face for Kamala, which is a baffling call for anyone in the Democrat camp but kind of still expected.

2. I really would love to hear the logic behind trying to prop her up for governor. By all accounts, no one likes her. She just handed the party their worst loss since Reagan and she blew over a billion dollars to do that. Also I thought that presidential immunity was permanent, so long as the act was commited as part of his presidential duties. The point of the ruling is the SC is trying to prevent a cycle of retaliation between different administrations for the actions of others.
