Im sorry but I just found this Lion and eagle Gold round from the royal mint? is this a joke?
this irritates me. it's called "the lion and eagle", yet the image depicts an eagle then a lion. it should be called "the eagle and lion" if that's the order in which they wanted to place the figures. they could have just as easily reversed the images, but then the lion would be looking back, rather than forward, which no doubt offends br*t*sh sensibilities in the same way that the u.s. military reverses the u.s. flag on service uniforms so that the flag appears to be forging into battle, rather than retreating. this is probably the reason that the eagle has its head turned around, also facing forward, instead of inline with its posture. i think it would've made for a slightly better (and i do mean slightly, because this is awful) design if the eagle and lion were back-to-back and facing opposite directions as a representation of the idea of the u.s. and the u.k looking out for one another against all enemies. not to mention the fact that at first glance, it looks like the eagle is chilling, riding shotgun, and has somehow manifested its own paw!

Lmao, and I thought the Britannia and Liberty coin was bad
this coin really irritates me, too. it's supposed to be the "first collaboration" between the u.s. mint and the royal mint, but the only way to read the rim properly is with the britannia right side up and the liberty upside down. an engraver from each mint designed the image for their respective figure, but clearly the fucking br*t*sh exerted their peragotive on the alignment when they issued the coin, which also has chuck on the obverse, because of course it does.

reeeeeeeee!!!

Finally added gold to the stash

I got my 11th Silver Maple Leaf yesterday and now it's just shy of 50CAD. The first time I bought a silver maple leaf. It was nowhere near that amount.

Due to my collection of World Paper Money, Coins as well as Silver and Gold (Including Platinum and Copper) getting bigger. I just so happen to be getting a (bigger) safe as well.

I can't imagine buying much copper. Silver is already bulky once you own several hundred ounces.

Edit:
Black Friday deals are starting. SD has a gold 1/10oz Brittania for $5 over spot. https://sdbullion.com/1-10-oz-gold-britannia-coin-random-year-promo

They're a good dealer. I usually pad out my cart with "random silver coin" if I need to hit free shipping and so far I've gotten the Charles Coronation Cipher and a Krugerrand.

Appreciate you sharing the link. I couldn't resist a good spot discount so I ordered one. I can confirm that $35 was removed from the total once you went to finalize the transaction.

I received my gold Brittania yesterday evening. It was packed very well and is in beautiful condition. Thanks for sharing this deal! I will use SD Bullion again. The shipping is really fast compared to my normal online supplier (Money Metals).

Just checked precious metals prices and Gold is back over $2700 (barely). $2700.40.

What matters to me the most.

It's really feels like a calm before the storm this year, the explosion tampered down in the beginning, and this recent stint of COMEX kikery...
subtle as ever KIKEMEX.jpg

Combine that with the "election" and all these "sales"... it just seems like the deep breath before the plunge. The Bankers running to get as much as they can and fly it out to Switzerland or Puerto Rico before they pull the rug out from under this shitstem.

I made the (possibly dumb) decision of finally making my first purchase right now. 5 generic rounds and a Silver Eagle from Monument Metals at spot. I also got one of these 25 Mexican Peso coins from the 1968 Olympics to get to the free shipping threshold.

I guess, if I'm gonna buy while prices are this high, it might as well be while I can get a Black Friday deal.
