the only one of their anthology games i played was house of ashes but never finished it. the "romance" in it was just disgusting, the women not only caused a car crash that crippled her husband but then decided instead of working on the marriage she heads out to a warzone and begins an affair with her black subordinate and we're suppose to cheer for her and want her to survive this? you can even decide if you want her to work on the marriage and get back with her husband or continue the affair and leave him...
I personally don't consider the interracial stuff by itself to be woke. IMO, it doesn't really seem forced or out-of-place in these games since they take place in the modern day. Only the Quarry seems to qualify.

Maybe that's why despite having an interracial family in the intro, Helldivers 2 escapes the woke branding. White man colonizing brown booty and passing down a white name isn't nearly as humiliating as a white woman sharking in the mud, so this is probably why this doesn't come across as pandery or forced.

Yeah, i'm not going to act i'm a huge obsidian fan, but i did buy PoE (thought i never finished, i gave it planty of tries) and always consider buying their games since i enjoy RPGs
I used to be a HUGE Obsidian fan - KOTOR 2 and Fallout: New Vegas, buggy, unfinished and unpolished are some my favorite cRPGs.
