Dude, this is so wrong.

It takes time for the brain to rebalance after being damaged by drug abuse. At least the worst of the withdrawals are behind him now. Hopefully, he can spend Thanksgiving in rehab rather than in jail. Rehab will likely provide a decent holiday meal, unlike the harsh reality of jail food.
He's still in jail as of this morning. It may be he's waiting on a bed at the new rehab place. That may take time. I don't know much about rehabs, but people I know who have gone have often had to wait months (1-6) to get in. These were 1+ month programs for people who to at least some degree were genuinely trying to get clean. I expect the place he's gone before was so quick to get in because all they want are bodies and all their clients want is to get the gov't off their back.

ITS FUCKIKNG RIGGERS DUED ITS SO RIGGED TEHY FUCKING RIGGED MY BOY KEEPING HIM BEHIND BARS BECAUISE THEY ARE RIGGERS!!!!!!

Unless it's got some crackarooski sprinkled on top or was brushed with delicious LSD sauce it's still absolute bullshit, bro. It's the holidays, have a damn heart.
Nobody understands dude. Nobody fuckin cares. Won't lift a fuckin finger to help Bossman get a good and crispy Thanksgiving like he deserves man

As the business day is soon coming to an end in Louisa County, VA, and the courts will be closed until December for the Thanksgiving holiday, it looks bleak for our boy BossmanJack's chance of getting out.

Lets take this moment to all Prayge for our boy as we say Grace tomorrow, and take a look at what might be Austin's Thanksgiving Day Holiday Feast.

Below is an example of a classic, but first let me walkyou through the setup. This is what inmates would call a "Tray". Inmates in facilities do not all eat in a cafeteria/dining haul, and this is the case for Austin's dorm. Where is staying they bring "Tray service" to them (and is common in most jails). These trays are firm plastic that "stack" on each other and are somewhat insulated, like a cooler type material. The way they stack on each other actually seals the tray below as a lid, so when carting these meals in the dozens on a cart they all stay relatively hot, fresh, and dont leak all over the place.

This is a very common Holiday meal. I'll walk you through starting at the bottom left and spiral in.
The brown mush are sweat potatoes/yams depending on where you are from. Above that is a slice of processed turkey, similar to what you would get in a tv dinner. Under neath are instant stuffing, and maybe mashed potatoes with gravy if the jail is particularly generous. At the top is the condiment tray with salt and pepper. We have the vegetable of the day being corn in the top right (sometimes this can be carrots,or mixed vegetables). Under the corn is our bread rolls. These are pretty generic white bread in this tray but sometimes its just a hamburger bun or slices of sandwich bread. In the second condiment tray a pat of butter, and in the center is a slice of pie atop some cranberry sauce..

Grim isnt it? Dont do crime kids.

(Different jail, similar type thanksgiving tray, albeit I think put together with more care. No vegetable instead cranberry sauce and mixed fruit. and maybe cream under the pie)

It isn’t the withdrawal symptoms that are of concern; with heavy use over time comes permanent, irresverisbke damage to brain function. Many who stop can indeed become clean; but the damage is already done and can not be reversed.

In some patients the part of the brain that produxe hormones that regulate happiness and so some remain debilitated the rest of their natural life.

Can we just take a moment to appreciate the subtle "fuck you" of each jail smashing the pie upside down onto the tray?

It's because they're stacking the trays on top of each other and if they put it right side up it would just stick to the tray above it.
The potato clumps, no matter how flattened, have a really high chance of doing this do longer the trays are allowed to cool.

The county I served a brief stint with provided cinnamon apple slices (like 3 or 4) with a graham cracker topping, just as you had mentioned. Growing up poor as piss, this was actually a really tasty treat. We were served boiled canned ham that became super spongy the longer it was allowed to sit.
