I think AI is over-hyped, but holy shit, are anti-AI "artists" some of the most annoying people on the fucking planet.

FYI when this happens with "enthusiast" type stores, in my experience, the issue is more frequently with the merchant's processor than the merchant's site proper. I wonder if "anime adjacent" retailers have been recently been pushed off of the mainline processors due to banking fuckery. There were a series of issues similar to this with gun retailers a few years back, after they got pushed further into the processor ghetto.

There is not a specific incident for it they just used to collab a lot and now they don't collab at all. The theories are that they either fell out behind the scenes or their fans were being too cringe. It settled down recently as they interacted on ARK & GTA but flared up again a couple of days ago when they were rolling for Holo members on a baseball stream and Pekora got Miko and rerolled to get someone else. The comments have been turned off & I've read they were mostly about the Pekora & Miko thing but I didn't see them myself. It is also speculated that the Koyori tweet I posted earlier about people throwing stones is related to this situation or the fact people who didn't participate in her Koshien baseball event are now running their own baseball event or both.
