Which is why Grenada and Panama got invaded. They weren't like Clinton's police actions in the Balkans and Africa or Bush's GWOT or Obama's retarded interventions, these were communist countries that had popped up very close which the USA did not want to see turn into new Cubas. Similarly with the big push on military spending and R&D, it made sense in the context of pushing the USSR into a position it couldn't win.
You are correct, but it's more complicated than that.

Grenada experienced a military coup by communists and held US citizens hostage. This was after the Iranian hostage crisis and Reagan didn't want a repeat performance. Leftists actually mock the rescue of the students as overblown. I met and spoke with an 82nd Airborne soldier who fought in Grenada and his attitude was that the Grenadians fucked around and found out. A lot of those guys were using old maps and had to race across the country to get to the right place. This guy's unit had to pay a local for his dump truck to get around.

Panama was to get rid of Manuel Noriega, who was not a nice guy. People love to point out Noriega's CIA ties, but they dumped him after he killed Hugo Spadafora and his drug trafficking came to light. Noriega opposed the Sandinistas, who were disliked even in Panama, who ruled by junta, and killed opposition. Leftists really whitewash the Sandinistas, who had armed cells going around to kill anyone who opposed them. After the invasion, the US installed Guillermo Endara, who won the 1989 election, and is credited with objectively unfucking the country. Leftists never acknowledge him.

It's the basic structure of US government, the Constitution limits what the government may do, it doesn't grant privileges to citizens. This means that any person in the US is protected by the same rules as citizens, because the founders knew governments are evil, and it was more important to control government power.

If you're not being apprehended at the border, then the state has to prove that you are not a citizen and that you came into the country illegally. It can't just say, "so and so doesn't belong here, pinky swear," and off to Guatemala you go. So there is some minimal due process you're entitled to.

Then we're fucked. Anyone can jump the border, tell the government they have to prove a negative, and immigration lawyers get a massive subsidy on the taxpayer dime. Meanwhile travelers at border crossings keep getting their Constitutional rights violated on a daily basis and somehow that's OK because reasons.

Philadelphia is losing its stranglehold on statewide elections

Will PA turn into another straight Ohio where the Republican presidential candidate wins by 6, 7, 8 points? No. But it could turn into a state where the Republican candidate consistently wins by 2, 3, 4 points if the Democrats don't turn things around there
If Trump can dismantle the Democrat political machines in 3 Philadelphia, Detroit, and Chicago then he can make PA, Michigan, and Illinois into Red states. Each requires the arrest and prosecution of a few hundred people in each city, plus the dismantling of hundreds of NGOs.

The arguments that @Not Really Here and @The Ugly One are making are retarded. Mexico has no problem dealing with illegals from any nation because they have a complete list of all citizens, and lists of entries/exits by non-citizens. As in a single database.

This is just doom posting and moping about how we can't have borders n sheeeeeiiiiittt because free dumb, maaaaaaaaannnnnn

Schiff's flailing because he knows if Trump goes through with internal investigations on any of the lawfare, he's fucked.
I want to see him burnt to the ground more than I want to see anything else. The entire j6 committee needs to be punished, harshly. Every last one of them that went along with twisting and perverting it need to be made to pay for what they did.

https://january6th-benniethompson.house.gov/about/membership Some of them probably didn't know, some of those names are complete and other nobodies. But ratskin, cheney, kinzinger, and the fat retarded nigger benny thompson, at the very least they should be forced off of any committee while they need to have a deep dive into every aspect of their past. Then they should probably face some sort of criminal charges.

Leftists constantly bitch about the CIA overthrowing socialists in Latin America, but they always forget to mention that said socialists were installed by the KGB.

President-elect Trump is being honored with a two-story-tall bronze statue, designed to capture his iconic defiant fist pump following the assassination attempt on his life in Butler, Pennsylvania, last July. The statue is hoped to be unveiled at Trump’s inauguration. (Tweet) (Archive)

I'm as happy as anyone that Trump won but I don't exactly think we need a giant kim il sung style idol of the man that people gather around and bow down to. Let's not get crazy.

You can safely disregard anyone who says Kamala ran an "excellent" campaign; if she did, the party wouldn't be on fire right now.

Also LOL @ the guy saying they should abuse the system even more to go after their enemies. How are those cases for Trump going right now, Mike?

I've been listening to the show off and on through the day but my main takeaway so far has been that Kamala's failure was a certainty if this was the brain trust in the room with her. Jen O'Malley Dillon whining about how the questions Kamala got were "too nuanced or deep" for her to properly come up with an answer was a special kind of stupid. How much of a deep dive do you need for her to explain what she's going to do different or why hasn't she done anything in four years?
