I’m so intrigued by the letter thing. And the fact that Pat just completely stuck his head in the sand about the cafrozed Gemini wallet callout. The other forum is lagging rn but I was looking at a thread over there where a funster posts a few of pats early tweets to cafrozed. Pat thanks him initially when the “we got him” post happens. He lays out his gay swat stats and muh family etc. Brad says thanks for the support and Pat replies back that they should chat privately because he thinks he can help tie up the investigation. In retrospect that’s really suspicious, and looks like Pat is fishing to see what/how much Brad knows.

Then later Pat turns on the guy and Jackie attacks him, and Brad specifically says Pat and Jackie are evil people while shitting all over Pat’s “stalkers made that Gemini wallet honest!” story. He even calls it “laughable” and Pat doesn’t take the bait. And he works with the FBI and Pat did not post about the letter everyone else is talking about. Then considering the confirmation from useless mistake that there’s an open federal investigation into pat’s situation. Pat’s weird womanly behavior lately, posting through his despondence rather than his usual smug rage. Idk pat bros. Putting at all together like that, something is up right?

So essentially the MPD can't release certain info (i.e. bodycam footage) because of an ongoing investigation, which you believe is a federal one. Okay, well Dan Mullen received a similar response from MPD after his FOIA request.

Not to rain on everyone's parade but how do we that, if there is a federal investigation, it has anything to even do with the swattings and isn't focused on identifying any Pests who may have broken laws while screwing with him? I suppose because neither Dan Mullen nor Quasi, nor any Pest has ever so much as received a phone call from any LEO or federal organization?

FBI also ordered them to not release anything. So, there's at least two factors playing. As it relates to your specifics (i.e. bodycam footage and Mullen), I haven't specifically asked for the former, and I can't comment on Mullen's requests because I don't know them.

Well, if we are going by logic, consider this. There are three reasons for why the FBI would still want to keep looking.
1. Torswats swatted Patrick, and they want more info. That doesn't work because Torswats already plead guilty to all the Swats the FBI placed on him, a plea that will be binding even if the Judge declines to adopt their plea agreement.
2. They are looking into his swatter.
3. They are looking into Patrick because he is the swatter.

Consider the breath of the investigation, and ask yourself; where does it make more sense for them to place 4 years worth of effort (or at least investigating 4 years worth of swattings)? Is it for a lone swatter, or for a media-darling (as it relates to the swats, at least) Patrick? What will be harder to prove to a jury? A violent act, or a man trying swat himself and his family over 50 times for attention?

Remember, all the swattings since 2022 could only have been carried out by someone with inside info on Patrick's airbnb rentals. That's either the guests, or Patrick. And if we know this, then the Feds most certainly do as well.

To me it seems obvious that however the investigation has started, the feds are more interested in him, than the one singular time the police has been able to confirm a swat call that was not made by Patrick.

That's my take on it. Circumstancial, but I believe it.

@Useful_Mistake there's also the issues with the one fake bomb threat and claiming the one concert show bomb threat was all about him so the FBI will also be looking into those as well. Nothing will probably come out of it similar to the bomb threat that one old GG get together at a bar got, but they'll still look into it. Bomb threats are more of a big deal after 9/11 than ever before.

We assume, for now, that Exhibit A in the MPD case is the bodycam footage, which, if you've been paying attention, the judge already stated both parties agreed to keep sealed during the proceedings. If they deem it could pose a risk to the subject, the police can decide to reject FOIA requests, which is what I assumed happened here. As I said in the quote you just referenced, I then assumed an ongoing investigation was just the reason the MPD gave for rejecting the FOIA request while the real reason was they had agreed with Rick beforehand not to.
If it's because of an ongoing federal investigation that I'm just now learning about, well then I'm just now learning about, aren't I? Which was why I was asking OP about it.

I don't think he's even well liked enough to go through kickstarter to get funds to self publish either. Though he can always visit us and we can see about crowdfunding for him. I'm sure I can put in another $500 from cashing out some stocks plus $250 to the government for their cut to help fund him long as we get individual shoutouts in the book.
