Oh, so you just object to which word she used. Cults, abusive older people, etc, do not "groom" you as soon as you hit your 18th birthday; they "manipulate" you. It's substantially the same exact thing, but which word we use is important so that we treat someone who is 6,575 days old as though they are completely different from someone who is 6,574 days old.

Grooming implies a degree of age based power, manipulation doesn't, it's not a difficult comcept, but yeah they're basically the exact same thing. You can 100% groom adults, we - as a society(TM) - just expect adults to be better at avoiding it, and have looser rules around manipulation for adults because they should be better equipped to handle it.

But like, the average adult is a mong, so they aren't good at handling it. One born every minute and all that jazz.

The average adult is a mong. Teenagers past the age of majority are, in many ways, still pretty childish in their thinking. If you're in your twenties, it's not obvious to you, but once you hit your 30s or 40s, it's hard not to see 18- and 19-year-olds as kids. On top of that, women are more childish than men. So yes, young women can be "groomed." Why do you think cults and cult-like movements (like the campus "woke" mind-virus) are so much more popular with women? Men, even young men at age 19, are much harder to groom than women.

A woman admitting she was groomed is admitting that mentally, she has, or at least had, more in common with a child than an adult. I have no objection whatsoever to a woman admitting this.

Why do you think I'm against female suffrage and female independence? Because they actually can't handle power or independence. We gave them total legal and sexual autonomy at age 18, after pretty much every civilization in history made men responsible for their well-being in one way or another, and a huge number of them use this autonomy to completely destroy their lives. Just hoping they'll "do better" and sternly lecturing them to "be better" is useless. They won't be better because they can't be better.

I maintain the stance that nobody can force you to do anything. If humans could be manipulated and controlled that way, nobody would ever be single. This thread would be non-existent and everyone here would be happily married to loyal wives who never cheat on them.

Honestly, sometimes I think we need to bring back "victim blaming." Especially when they aren't really the victims, like the aforementioned cop who literally just decided to have sex with 6 co-workers.
