Like whatever. There’s no forgiveness with TDS sufferers because they often don’t believe in forgiveness or absolution. That’s a western belief based in Christianity, something they dislike. Even the Old Testament required you to compensate someone for an offense to be let off the hook.

In 17th century England, if you stole over a dollars worth of goods, that was automatic hanging. And this led to people stealing far more than just 1 dollar, and the effort to curb theft backfired, and was then corrected with tiered punishments instead.

If you have no path for allowing mistakes, it’s basically law of the jungle. One mistake and you’re done, out, over. As I said above, this has a track record of having the opposite effect when it comes to discouraging certain behaviors; you may as well go all the way.

Today’s cancellation crowds are just polite lynch mobs. Oh sure they won’t kill you, they will just do everything besides that. He has acted in a more moral manner than much of the Republican party in congress (figures like Romney or whatever). So we can at least say he's a more religious conservative than most of those that profess to be religious in any way.

Which is still irrelevant when it comes to politics as you'd have to be a retard to only want to support someone if you think they're more godly than you. They're not meant to be some priest leading you on the righteous path, they're politicians that are supposed to be allocating funds for things like road construction or arguing immigration/trade. Eh. I never have and I never will. His pandering to the evangelical base has always been one of my least favorite things about his campaign which I say as someone from a more traditional line church.
