I don't care about the old contestants because in a house of new faces, they failed to engage me. And now they're just handed a sense of security and a Fish Tank they're already prepared for and prepped for a victory they don't fucking deserve? Fuck that shit, man. Fuck that shit.

Now Jobe's gone, Fatty stays, and Luke's been demoted to freeloader? And I'm supposed to be excited about the next however many fucking days of Binx and Payton being smug and Burt still being fucking confused.

Man. I don't even know anymore. I was so relieved when they brought Luke back and his endorsement card said "fish" and he didn't get the boot when everyone else did. I thought they were on the same page, none of the remaining 3 deserve this win. I thought they were going to give him a chance. I understand the playing field would be a little skewed because he missed 4 weeks of being in the tank, but let's be real, they barely did anything in those three weeks anyway. Nobody wanted him gone. That was production's decision. We were never told why. Luke only said it was because he "flew too close to the sun" despite him not really doing anything to warrant him getting kicked. He smashed some pumpkins and banged some pots and pans... Oh no!

They could rectify what he's missed in a single day. Hear me out. Give him the option to participate in a single-man Cell challenge, his reward for this would be the opportunity to continue as a competitor if he can survive it for 24 hours. During this, the other fish can be given the challenge of fucking with him as hard as possible for fishbucks. Also, at some point during the cell, make him do the full hot dog triathlon (modified for a single person since the others got to work on teams). If he agrees to do this and lasts the full 24 hours, he gets to compete, if he refuses, he just remains in the house as a freeloader.

This won't happen, but itd be good content and catch him up on basically all the shit the other coddled contestants have had to endure. If anything, this is significantly worse than what they had to deal with.

But instead, they're probably just gonna actually dump a bunch of homeless people in the tank cause haha funny, and we'll have to just be content with 50k being won by a hyper porn addicted wanna be child molester who's main form of content is jacking off and talking about gay sex, an e-whore panderer with the most obnoxious voice who can't handle the simplest task of "just don't be a dumb thot", or literal nontent.

I was so excited for this season, but shit just really went south and I don't think there's any outcome that can truly repair this for me. I'm just really disappointed.

Discussing "mainsteam" Fish Tank is a totally different thing because that's a Fish Tank that I won't be watching. So I guess I don't really care to ponder on about it because if it happens....I won't be there.

I mean do you at least agree that that is what Jet/Sam Hyde want to do with this idea? It seems pretty evident to me that is what they want to do, and yeah I wouldn't be watching it either.

But if that actually happens I will just: "it's like poetry... it rhymes" chiefly because people have had such a huge hate boner over people like idubbbz turning his back on his OG audience and trying to move on, there would at least be some similarities. I think it depends on how much control Sam has over the product. If Jet is the big boss it's fucked the second it becomes mainstream but if Sam is the big boss I doubt it would change, he didn't change WP for Adult Swim/Turner I don't think he'd change Fishtank unless someone bought it out, in that case I think he'd just start over under a new brand name doing the same shit, hopefully with someone far more competent than Jet.

Sam didn't change WP but AS did change it for him. The versions that aired on tv were so butchered from censorship they're nearly unwatchable compared to the original uncensored versions.

If you're mainstream with sponsors and corporate producers, things would have to change whether Sam likes it or not and if they didn't change then it wouldn't survive in the mainstream.

I'm not read enough into the lore but I do remember right when Season 1 started Sam Hyde sort of had to have a "heart to heart" with his fanbase and that they couldn't run around fedposting in the chat - I can't remember exactly what triggered it, but it was definitely more than people just saying "nigger". I think it may have been CP/gore and there were some Discords that sprung up that were causing problems. I think some of his more spergy/retard fanbase were like "muh freedom of speech" and pointed out that he got kicked off adult swim for hiding swastikas and various things.

I recall that he made very specific and semi-emotional reference to "missing a lot of opportunities" because of never kowtowing previously and the way I read into it was that he had matured quite a bit and was over the "insert le funny windmill swastika in da background" shit as well as possible associated too much with various "problematic" people. I think if anything he's just become a lot more clever at his comedy (but I haven't seen enough of his early stuff to make a full judgement)

There's always strong visual symbolism in Fishtank somehow, and it was pointed out earlier that the taped up fish could symbolize the show being held together by tape in the late season. The fish being held together by tape falling apart could be seen as a very sinister metaphor for how even duct tape can't salvage it this time, especially with it happening as many people in the audience are considering being done with the show.

The biggest thing is that means it can't use Google/Apple payment services. The entire point of being on the appstore is so that penultimate gacha addicts like DSP can freely spend retard amounts of money.
If your app isn't on the app store then people have to manually put in their payment details and generally manually set up accounts (at least it isn't as straightforward as with a proper app)

If they were on appstore, they'd have to pay a significant cut of all purchases to apple/google. There are also some rules they'd probably be breaking right now so they'd have to neuter it and be really careful to not do anything controversial in the future. I can imagine someone having a wardrobe malfunction on camera and ruining the whole business.

It's great Fatty is turning his life around and started losing weight. But with only Luke, Payton, Binx and Burt left, Fatty is going to stick to them like a limpet. I don't need to hear positive affirmations and life advice from a man who lives in a shed and who cried yesterday because it was his first time being under 300 lbs since he was 14. I don't want to see another Fatty court, or another "Chris points" competition, or watch him spar with Sam for hours. Whatever production have planned for the rest of the season (if they actually have got anything planned) they need to put Fatty away.
