Regardless, something weird happened the other day that spooked Nick out of accepting a plea deal that it looked like he was willing to accept, and forced this back to next month.
I've not seen anything indicating he was planning to accept a plea deal.. What makes you think he was willing?

I know people are interpreting the "anathema" comment that way, but I think that's backwards. There is no universe in which Nick Rekieta characterizes pleading out as "the right thing to do."

To Nick, the right thing is to reject any plea that requires him to plead guilty to something he thinks he didn't do. That's the example he wants to set for his children. The anathema is not taking the deal, b/c he knows the odds ain't great.

This interpretation makes more sense imo.

Nick sending Melton a 100$ superchat saying "I will have to do something because its best for my family and to show my boys how to be responsible".
Praphrasing because I am zoo lazy to find the actual quote.

How does 'I was there' change the point of what the person he's responding to is saying? He was where, in his daughter's hair follicle conducting metabolism?
He was also there with April and Aaron in the hot tub and he promises you he 100% wasn't swinging...

Until he admitted it, then it's ok to have a concubine, you nerd prudes!

There was also the comment where he said “keeping it going would kill me.” And this was all hours before the conference.
Plus, while on melton’s stream he said “we got an offer, it’s a good but not great” implying he was more trying to negotiate but still take one.
Nick also only ever had his clients take plea deals because he was an awful lawyer who had no chance of ever winning in court. Add all of this together and we have a pretty obvious conclusion that he was planning to take a plea and likely will still

It’s entirely possible that this is what made Rekieta go: “I can’t agree to that! My children and my balldo have come to rely on April’s loving, firm hand!”
There is an approximately 0% chance that any offered deal said he couldn't hang out with April. I don't know why everyone is running with this, it's prima facie fucking retarded.

Actually what I would believe is deal being other way around. That is April's deal telling her to not associate with Nick. 25 gram share with kid man against barely anything woman...

A deal that specifically mentions April? Nope. But a 2 year probation period where he can’t spend time with convicted felons or have them living on his property is a fairly normal condition of probation.

He also said he was going to do something that is antithetical to his nature to set an example for his sons

That's the "anathema" statement I'm referencing. He does not say anything about doing "what's best for his family."

Nick still thinks he’s this 5D master manipulator who can shyster his way out of anything.

“Did you have sex with April?”
“God no!”
“So you never inserted a balldo attached to your testicles into her vagina?”
“I didn’t say that!”

He still thinks that if he says it don’t happen loud enough and often enough, his audience will believe him.

Is april a convicted felon or is it because of the upcoming trial?

And if my grandmother had wheels she'd be a bike.
April isn't a convicted felon, nor will she be.
