Ali Hillis, who did acceptable-to-good work as Liara and pretty darn good work as Harding in Inquisition, seems like a decent VA ... and what exactly is she supposed to do with "I could ... kiss you ... I'm going ... to ... kiss you!"?

She was way better as Harding in Inquisition. Liara always talks like she's on the verge of outta breath. Harding at least talks like a normal woman but not only was veilguard content to fuck up every chara but also the voice direction.

Vincent Price lookalike is the male version of how Liara talks and I may be a bit salty cuz I wanted a Vincent Price Necromancer and we got a weird teehee necromancy funny guy instead.. what is up with the Lich thing btw?? There never were any Liches in dragon age where tf did they come from?? Immortal??

Grey Warden in Inquisition goes to cure his calling if alive. Why don't take Oghren with him?

I'm replaying Awakening, I think over half his lines with female characters in your party are sexual. It's refreshing.

The coffee talk reminds me of that terrible Flintlock: Siege of Dawn game. It's heavily based around colonial period warfare with the matchlock weapons, cannons and trenches, but your safe areas are just outright coffee shops. Like, no attempt at dressing it up, just straight up coffee and caffeine.

I'm not going to bother watching his video. Even public lefties like The Act Man, Infuriated Ignacio, etc fucking hate the game. When it launched there was plenty of criticism that had absolutely nothing to do with how "woke" the game was, because it was shit. But somehow it's those damned grifters? Sure, they shit on the game too but maybe... it was just a shitty game?

Once again.. baldurs gate 3, also woke, and even previous DA games with gays and trannies in them, were at least within the scale of liked to good and even actual game of the year material at times. Of course what happened with baldurs gate 3? devs going on twitter to cry about the slop they're working on for multi billion dollar companies being compared to Larian as if it were somehow unfair. Speaking of Larian and BG3 they just released another patch with some sub classes and shit, meaning they'd still be eligible to get nominated in 2025 for continued support. The general gaming public will tolerate woke bullshit in an otherwise good game, but will laugh at and despise woke shit in bad games.

Stop making bad games. Even if Traash didn't exist in veilguard, the entire rest of the game is shit. The combat is shit, the puzzles are shit, the story and writing are shit, the voice acting is shit(I don't blame the VAs for this one, wtf are they supposed to do with this script?), the design and graphics are shit... so wtf are the redeeming qualities for anyone to latch onto for a single player "rpg"?

edit: I decided to watch the beginning of the video, and dude hasn't even played the game himself, holy fucking shit. Claims the trans character shit only comes up an hour into the game and you can just pick "no" to not have trans content... that's a fucking lie it's in the character creator and you can't kill the trans party member till way later on and you get a bad ending for doing so(all the party members need to live if you want the good ending). Compares traash to asking if players want black people in a game because again, he just believes the only trans shit in the game is just the stupid mirror thing where a player can decide to be a tranny.

So the guy hasn't played through the game, lies about the parts of the game he has played through and claims there's no tranny shit while having a genderblob on the fucking screen, and everyone else is the grifter? He's the fucking definition of it.
