I honestly thought that there was no way trump could win in 2024. I had resigned to that fact up until about 1 or 2 weeks before the election. In a way I feel like I wasted all the chances I had to enjoy this election season because I simply tuned it out. 2016 was so great and I wished we could have a repeat and when we did I ignored it all and missed it. Oh well.
I was quietly doompilled, but it turned out the Trump team put up a good fight. I remember the lawfare the republicans engaged in in PA, where they won extra voting days because they were closing down early polling sites early. Lara Trump also deployed a quarter million poll watchers across the battleground states plus 500 lawyers.

Of course, Trump also ran a very good campaign. He hit a good balance of serious talking points, trolling the opposition, and meming his way into the hearts of zoomers.

All against two terrible candidates, either sleepy Joe or the cackling mongoloid.

Clinton, even if she makes a bid for the 2028 nomination, will not get it for two very simple reasons:
-She already lost to the Real Trump, she's going to fare even worse against millennial Trump
-Donors have a limit when it comes to throwing good money after bad and that's why 2020 wasn't a Clinton-Trump rematch, and why she's faded to the background for the most part post-2016.

You didn't miss much. There wasn't much like the 2016 Trump memes such as Kek, Shadilay, Moonman, etc. His campaign this time lacked the same glorious energy to it, even if took one of the most iconic pictures of this era at the assassination attempt. Well, PNut the squirrel was funny, but he was the day before the election.

Plea deals. "You can go to court and make us prove you're not actually Meredith Jones, born 1938 in Ohio, and when we do, we'll add on every other felony you've committed related to identity fraud, meaning you do 10 years in the pen before you go home, or you can admit right now your name is Juanita Garcia Hernandez and that you're from Costa Rica, and you go home next week."
Great idea, except for the part where Democrats get control of the Government again and release every single illegal that was put in Prison, easily undoing all of that work.
Any ideas that require more than 2 years to succeed are optimistic, and any that require more than 4 are unrealistic. And yes, I understand that I'm being unrealistic by expecting such a massive change in such a short time, but there is no chance that deportations survive for even a day if Democrats regain control. It's now or never.
If Democrats win either chamber of Congress in 2026, and Trump hasn't deported at least 50% of illegals, I'm writing off both mass deportations (and by extension, Trump's Presidency) as a failure.

Traditionally the cure is to literally kidnap the cult member and deprogram them, by the way. Not sure how you do that to entire demographics
its already happening

The election with the popular vote and that red blue map by county breaks them pretty hard

The covid lock downs the constant media gas lighting culminated in a landslide loss.

We get to see what trump does

I disagree. I think this will just further radicalize them.

"well I haven't heard about any of that..." - because of course no real "legit" source talks about this.
This is the crux of the liberal mind. "Truth" only comes from authoritative sources that all circle jerk each other into consensus. If they don't report it, it doesn't exist.

Barry coming in with the latest NPC Programming: Pluralism - sticking together just long enough to beat the bad guy save democracy.

Listen to this as a democrat, and not an American. He is not talking about uniting the country, just his party. @Hey Johnny Bravo brought it up earlier, but Obummer is trying to mop up this mess.

More hope and change bullshit. I can't wait until this guy makes himself irrelevant with his snake oil.

They arent really radicalized, its more socialized, the people who support trannies dont have to really deal with them, the people supporting illegals dont have to deal with the negatives, and if they dont repeat what their peer groups or media says they will get social pressure.

I base this on the fact that people stopped screaming for trumps head, and stopped calling him hitler after the bullet missed instead they want to believe he faked it.

The talk is now wanting to flee the country, while the post mortem on harris will cycle and cycle as they try to find a narative that works

You could tell everyone was geared up for screaming about how unfair the electoral college is and boom popular vote.

the mayor of denver saying he "will go to jail" and fucking tom hoffman saying "I will put you in jail" and then that faggot mayor walks shit back.

alot of the shit these idots push are fucking virtue signals no mayor is going to go to jail for men in dresses, the pink hairs are not gonna go buy guns pull a jan 6th.

Ehhh, I want to believe this but I'm a pessimist.

Your side has shredded this country.
You flooded it with invaders and drugs.
You crashed the economy.
You have spent nearly a decade calling me a Nazi, a xxxx-phobe, and whatever else came into your mind.
Now facing defeat you reach out for unity?

I do not hate you but I know that I cannot trust you.

Not sure if this was posted here, but Bearing Arms (a pro 2nd amendment cite) pointed out that Pam Bondi, Trump's nominee for attorney general, supported gun control measures in the past.

Pam Bondi served as Florida's attorney general for eight years, and was in office when the legislature crafted its response to the 2018 shootings at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland.

"In a time of crisis, it's about finding common ground, and that's what Gov. Scott has done," Bondi told Fox Business host Stuart Varney in March of that year, as the Florida legislature was in the midst of passing legislation that, among other things, raised the age to purchase a firearm from 18 to 21 and established a "red flag" law in the state.

During that same interview, Bondi praised Trump's response to the Parkland shootings and expressed her hope that he could be a "mediator" with federal lawmakers.

"Hopefully Congress will follow Florida's lead and what Gov. Scott has been doing here in Florida and all of us working so well together," she told Varney as the interview concluded.

Even before Bondi tacitly embraced "red flag" laws and prohibiting young adults from purchasing firearms at retail, some 2A activists in Florida weren't big fans of Bondi's tenure as AG. Florida Carry's general counsel Eric Friday expressed relief when current AG Ashley Moody took over the position in 2019.

“Ms. Bondi made numerous anti-gun decisions," Friday said.
Bondi opposed a semiautomatic weapon ban in Connecticut after the Sandy Hook shooting and defended Florida’s controversial “stand your ground” law. But she also argued that stand your ground shouldn’t be used by police officers to defend their shootings.
In 2013, Bondi also defended the state’s law that prohibits people from openly carrying weapons, pitting her against Friday’s organization. Her handling of it prompted Hammer to reassure NRA members that Bondi was "a friend of our organizations.”
Bondi also defended the Legislature’s gun-control measures passed in the wake of the Parkland shooting, including a provision that outlawed anyone younger than 21 from buying a rifle or shotgun.
The NRA challenged the law and asked that a 19-year-old plaintiff be allowed to remain anonymous in the case so she could avoid potential harassment. After Bondi fought it, Hammer accused her of “bullying.”

Moody, it should be noted, has continued to defend the post-Parkland gun controls adopted by the Florida legislature and Scott. The NRA's lawsuit challenging the age-based gun ban is currently pending in the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, with oral arguments taking place last month.

Bondi is not an out-and-proud gun grabber, but she does come with some gun control baggage that's likely to come up during her meet-and-greets with senators as well as her confirmation hearings. Would she, for instance, wholeheartedly defend the federal prohibition on handgun sales for adults younger than 21? Does she continue to believe that Congress should implement a federal gun violence restraining order like the one adopted in Florida six years ago? Would she side with the plaintiffs challenging semi-auto bans in Maryland, Illinois, New Jersey, California, and a handful of other states? And where does Bondi come down on the issue of restoring Second Amendment rights to those convicted of non-violent felony offenses?

So far none of the major 2A groups have commented on Bondi's selection on social media, either in support or opposition to her nomination. Whether she'll face any formal objections from Second Amendment organizations remains to be seen, and they may very well be holding off until they hear what Bondi herself has to say about the right to keep and bear arms as the confirmation process plays out.

At this point Hillary running on the primary is nothing more than a vanity catwalk for her.
She will just concede at the end to whoever will be the actual dem nominee, i think they'll stage it like an Obama moment. Like a pseudo-queen granting the title of knight to the chosen one of the democrat party.
